Had a great lunch here with my wife. Really cool location, you can almost miss it but there’s a sign that says Sushi on the outside. I had the salmon poke bowl and my wife had the crunchy chicken salad with some garlic edamame. All really good, we’ll have to come back for sushi!
UPDATE: my wife and I went for dinner a couple months after the first post and had a completely different experience. Based on some of the other reviews, maybe a common one.
We had a server who maybe was the owner, possibly just higher ranking, but he was completely wasted by the end of our meal. Part of that might have been because the food took almost an hour and a half to get because he had forgotten to put in the food, which I suppose gave him more time to get more drunk. He was taking shots and sipping drinks with patrons after taking our order, decently busy but not packed night. As time goes on, we see other tables getting food that sat behind us… way behind us. Between some cheers, he finally sees us getting more aggravated and just says the food is coming with no apologies. I let him know how much we enjoyed our time here dining the first time and how disappointing this follow up was, and he couldn’t have cared less. The saving grace was the food was still good, but this experience had already soured the night.

Tried Blue DTR and it did not disappoint. I had the Blue DTR roll and the Diablo roll, both were super fresh and filling. My wife went with the fish and chips, and honestly, it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy breading with a soft, hot, flaky center. Service was fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

Been here twice now. The first we came the sushi was exceptional and I would have said the best in the area. We went again last weekend, and the fish did not taste the same and I would not have recommended it. I’d go back to try again.

A fun, hole in the wall sushi spot that stands out the second you manage to spot the front door. The small interior felt cozy, creative, and authentic without being too cramped. Service was spectacular. The food was next level. The Aoi Nachos were unique and delicious, and a great serving size for several people to share. We tried the Flaming Blu sushi roll and couldn’t stop thinking about the smoked salmon on top for the rest of the day! The cocktail menu features several creative mixed drinks made with a variety of different types of sake. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

Blu DTR is to die for! The atmosphere is modern, yet cozy. My server was super attentive. I tried a few of the drinks and appetizers, and they were all delicious. I also tried the DTR Roll, the Whipple, the Love, and the City Hall rolls! I could tell that the fish is fresh and the chefs are detail-oriented. Although all of them are delectable, I would highly recommend the City Hall Roll, as it was super light and fresh!

Small intimate location. Walked in, was greeted promptly and shown a table. Menu items are thought out and have a mixture of complexity and flavor.
The freshness is amazing. We enjoyed our entire meal and everything was wonderful!
