We were here last year and the food was great and so was the service. We heard they were under new ownership this year. Not sure if that is true but it was a completely different (negative) experience this year. Food was good so I credit the kitchen staff. Service was really poor. They have a lot of young people working here that desperately need training. This place is a great location, has a lot of people coming off the lake that honestly, have a lot of money and expect good service. This place has the potential to be a gold mine. We were here for 2 hours, watched the young staff struggle and the woman who I assume was the manager was not aware of what was happening in the restaurant at all. She sat at the bar, staring at her computer and her phone during the busiest time of day when she should have been working behind the bar or doing something to speed up service.
I sure hope things can improve because it really is a good location with good food

I absolutely love this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone! From Chicken, Pizzas, and Burgers; to Swordfish (Grilled, Blackened, or Fried), Poke Bowls, and even Fish Nachos! They’ve got an amazing menu for the location that provides a great choice for any type of diet.The servers are very friendly and communicative, and seem to really enjoy what they’re doing. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here and we definitely look forward to stopping by every day we make a trip to the lake.

Our family comes here every summer to rent a boat and end the day with dinner. New owners have taken over from JJ’s and this place is a disorganized mess and the food was mediocre at best. They tried to blame it on them still being at a soft opening stage and they weren’t prepared for our group size (10 people and 2 toddlers), however, there were other similarly sized parties at the time if our arrival and we called at 3 pm to make a reservation for 6 pm and they said reservations were not accepted. When we arrived, they were not fully stocked with seating for both toddlers (booster or highchair). We then attempted to order and they informed us they did not have the pizza or hushpuppies available, which is a quarter of the already small menu choices. It took an abnormally long time for our food to arrive, and when it did, 2 of the 4 people who ordered the fish had soggy breading on the bottom and cold fries. One person in our party did not get their food until everyone else had already finished eating, and only after we had reminded the waitress he still hadn’t gotten his food. We finally asked for it to go, and requested it be comped due to the poor and untimely service, and were initially told no. We then requested to speak to the manager who was rude and curt about the situation and our feedback. When we left, we ran into the owners who were apathetic to our concerns and did not seem to mind that they were going to lose our family’s yearly business and had nothing but excuses as to why things were the way they were. We do understand the concept of a soft opening and wanted to offer our feedback so that they may improve and keep the quality of the food and service that locals know and love, however, neither the manager or the owners seemed interested. Had the manager or owners had an open mind and were willing to work with us, we would consider continuing business with them.

We had fish tacos which we great. Jambalaya is listed as a house special… average at best and messy to eat as shrimp we served with shells on:(. Extremely slow service needs major help. Server was nice and friendly though.
We got there just after 5 pm on a Thursday night and waited almost 30 minutes for dinner. Glad we didn’t have a few hungry young kids with us as they couldn’t handle the SLOW service. Needs a fix fast.

There have been some reviews that indicated in the first weeks of opening food was delayed and management was unhelpful. This was not our experience. We visited on the Fourth of July weekend, which is always exceeding busy on the lake, yet we had excellent service and excellent food. The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, the staff was attentive, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

I really wanted to like this place. I see lots of negative reviews of the long waits for service and the food but I wanted to see the glass half full and not half empty. Unfortunately I experienced the very same issue and it was TERRBLE. 21 minutes after we gave our order just to get the appetizer and 45-50 minutes after ordering to get the main meal. Also when we got it I had to send it back twice because it was wrong and I’m not talking slightly wrong . Also the food just didnt come out the way the menu describes it. Oh and the menu on Google Maps is not the menu, its completely different. Like I said I wanted to like this place but I guess the reviews can’t all be wrong.

Waited on our food for close to 2 hours. Not an exaggeration! When we finally got our food the chicken was cold. I ordered fish tacos, and I ended up getting chicken (also cold) tacos. Overall food wasn’t amazing, so definitely not worth the wait. Half our party had to leave due to the wait, so we had to box their food and take it to them. Definitely not ready to be open and their kitchen staff needs more training.

Had the blu burger with bacon and cheese. Was absolutely fantastic. Lots of flavor, they did NOT skimp on the trimmings, and there was a char taste… not much but just enough to make a perfect burger! I would add pictures but it was gone in about 5 seconds (I have a problem). Also the fries were also very good!

Contrary to the few poor reviews written during their soft opening, we had a WONDERFUL experience July 4th weekend. The grandkids loved eating on the dock and enjoyed the resident geese and fish. Food was great, service was fast and attentive, and suggestions were appreciated. We will be repeat customers.

We had a bad experience at this establishment. We had a kids table of 6 all ordered the chicken strips. To begin with, one ordered the kids chicken and it came out 30 min before the rest of the food so it was cold by the time the rest of us started eating. That’s not the biggest thing though. After two of the kids ate a piece of their chicken, we realized that every single piece was completely raw, in all the baskets. After all of that, they expected us to still pay for the chicken meals. After some convincing, they were eventually taken off the check.
