About BLU BLU Crabhouse & Raw Bar is a family-owned restaurant located just a short walk from Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk yet tucked on the bay overlooking spectacular sunsets. BLU serves Eastern Shore favorites with a creative, unique flair — steamed Maryland blue crabs, shrimp, clams, and crab cakes, as well as some new twists on the traditions using innovative ingredients and seasonings. The Raw Bar features a rotating oyster selection, a seafood tower, and much more.

Had a beautiful evening with my family dining at this restaurant. We were in ocean city for the weekend and deciding to dine at this restaurant was one of best decisions. First off there serving portions are pretty huge. Our server was amazing! 5 stars for him also ( sorry I don’t remember his name) incredible service. Food was great. View over watching the inlet while we had dinner just around sunset.

Wonderful, especially for families. We had 5 adults and three babies and found something to keep every happy. The Halibut is very good and fresh. My son loved the NY Strip with Crab legs added on. Seafood Pasta is perfect. We got Beer & Cheese dip, Crab Dip, and Boom Boom Shrimp for apps. Small pizza for the kids. Staff here is relaxed and friendly. Our server was Mike. He checked in with us just the right amount of times. Orders come out quickly. Highly recommended for young families.

Great place to eat in Ocean City while enjoying the canal view and bay side sunsets. I really liked the crab cakes, fries, and Cole slaw. The orange crush put me in a really good mood. The chicken with pesto, the veggies, and garlic mashed potatoes were just okay. The crab was delicious. And maybe server Bobby was awesome. We like so much we went twice and plan to go back when we return to OCMD.

I have been pondering this review for quite some time. While in Ocean City, Maryland with a bunch of friends, we researched the various crab establishments for a fun night out. We were a large group, but upon arriving we were seated down and it took I’d say over 25 minutes for even our drinks to reach the table. Unfortunately, that was a sign of what was the come for the entire meal it took such a long time for all of the entrées and appetizers to arrive, while they did taste decent. I do not believe they were worth the price we paid. To top that all off when my friend generously paid with one card to make it easier on the waitress she’s somehow found a way to lose his credit card and impressively still charge the incorrect items to our group. I would not recommend coming here if you have a large group, though, it is a large restaurant they seemed overwhelmed. One thing I would recommend is going upstairs for the view.

We had a good meal here, 3 of us had one of the pots and one had all u can eat blue crab. The food was good, service was good, but the food was very slow to come out, and in fact mine we had to ask for specifically because it just never came. We would probably try another spot next time, with so many places to choose from, but would likely go back here again if in the area. And the sangria pitchers were yummy, we tried both varieties.

We visit Ocean City every summer for the air shows. Every summer we go to this restaurant. This summer, it was absolutely horrible. The crab legs were overcooked. Our ceasar salad had no dressing. The corn chowder was cold. I asked for a second bowl that was also delivered cold. The crab dip was terrible. Hey, but the corn on the cob was very good. The view is absolutely stunning. Very beautiful sunsets. Our waitress was very unattentive. Zero napkins. Zero crackers for the crab claws. There are no refills on our water. We asked her numerous times to add a military discount. She never adjusted our check.

BLU crab house was great! First time there and seated right away and prompt service. I got the crab (small) Bloody Mary was great! We ordered snow crab legs, seafood platter and calamari! Everything was great! Our waitress was great! Food was fresh. Drink selection was great bathrooms clean , restaurant it’s self clean, also Tables were big and they provided lots of umbrellas. When we left they was a wait! They also sell merch.
