My husband and I own and operate the cafe lovingly to provide yummy fresh affordable options in downtown Blowing Rock. But if you are high drama and high maintenance we will reserve the right to ask you to leave. We like to have fun here and create a happy atmosphere- no brats pls. This is a seasonal part time business and we are filling a void in Blowing Rock for fresh affordable and family friendly- not an easy task please don’t make it harder. Even with the ridiculous price of groceries we are keeping our old prices! We want this to be a fun experience ❤️ We do not have to work, would rather be fishing but this is for our community effort filling the void in Blowing Rock. This place is deja vu in the middle of Blowing Rock. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by classic checkered red tablecloths that remind you of something you can barely put your finger on from a long time ago. It’s like time decided to take a break here – who can blame it?
The owner is at the counter, ready with hot dogs, pretzels, and turkey kielbasa (amazing – who knew). You can tell he’s got a passion for hot dogs – or maybe just for taking time to greet strangers and have a conversation. If it is a love for hot dogs driving him, it’s an even deeper love for mustard—this man knows his condiments. There’s something comforting about knowing you’re in the hands of someone who takes service to customers so seriously, yet keeps it all light and unpretentious.
The whole place feels like a time warp in the best way, taking you back to when life was simpler, and a great hot dog was all it took to make your day. If you’re passing through, stop by. The good old days are still alive and well in places like this.

Come here for lunch and some vintage vinyl hunting! They have delicious food with VERY reasonable prices, and the owners are very welcoming and friendly! We saw that they had a vinyl collection and we were able to find great options at VERY reasonable prices. Make sure to get a beer steamed hot dog too. Delicious!!

Dean and his wife are phenomenal the Dino Burgers and Fries were amazing and we ended up staying and talking to him for quite a bit! He’s super friendly and we’re actually from around the same place! Always going to be visiting this place whenever im in Blowing Rock!

The owners were so nice and the atmosphere was chill away from the busy crowds on main st. Open on weekends and some holidays. Down to earth vibes with classics on the menu I LOVED the Chicago dog! They also sell little vintage items as well like vinyl records to mahjong sets to cowboy hats. They’re the kind of business I want to give my money to! If you want a quick bite, small place to lounge, and have some good music while you hang: GO THERE! 🙂

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this cozy little gem of a restaurant! The owners, Dean and Shaanaz, couldn’t be more welcoming, genuine and warm. We each had their signature burger which was absolutely outstanding! Originating from a well guarded and secret recipe, this will not disappoint. I will say without hesitation that it was the best I’ve ever had! Absolutely scrumptious, and definitely made with love. Their curly fries are also amazing, thin and delicate, with just the right amount of crispiness. We are so happy we found this gem!

My friend and I were in town visiting while hiking the area. We just wanted something simple and quick and this place was perfect! The hamburgers and fries were way above average . The Owner , Dean and his wife are what really set this restaurant above all the others. They take the time to sit down and get to know you and you get to know them. I had visited them several years ago with my wife and I wanted my friend to meet them as well. They still have a wonderful restaurant!
