Camden does it again! If you are looking for, needin’ some, gotta have some food for your soul then you gotta be Blowin’ Smoque! From the moment you enter, Omar and the crew treat you like you just got home! An easy atmosphere with all the fixings of a backyard BBQ banger. An easy, uncomplicated menu with all the favorites. (May I recommend the Ribs and Mac & Cheese with a Lemonade) Smoked and tender BBQ perfection. The restaurant is street level with room enough for wheelchair and other mobility aid devices. On the street free parking. They accept cash as well as cards. The prices are right and the portions generous. One platter is enough to share but trust me, you’ll want your own. Everything is homemade and fresh. Stop by and give Blowin’ Smoque a try. When you support Small Business we all win. You won’t be sorry AND you’ll be full. Enjoy!

I happened upon this nice eatery after finding out another place was virtually imaginary. I will be going back again. We had the chicken leg dinner with 2 side dishes. Everything was fresh made and not a long wait for take out ordering. Highly recommended if you are picky about where to eat a nice meal.

All the way from Chicago, and this spot did not disappoint! We came in hungry and left full and happy. The smoky flavor from the grill was on point—every bite of the pork ribs and chicken was perfectly tender and juicy.
For sides, we had mac and cheese, potato salad, and yams—each one was a hit! No misses here. I’d honestly put them at the top of my list, and I’d definitely consider ordering from here for Thanksgiving.
Thank you for the warm hospitality! I’ll for sure be back on my next visit.

Dined at Blowin’ Smoque on a whim after enjoying the aquarium. our party of five order was Great! Service and those behind the counter were pleasant and served food hot n tasty, did not disappoint. Started and ended with sweet potato pie and a banana pudding, hit the spot. Main courses included hot and delicious ribs, brisket and chicken drums – ooooooooLaLa! Served nice n hot. The Mac n cheese was the bomb as was the awesome broccoli salad and I always love a good cabbage side. Highly recommend and plan to return when in the area

Dear Lord, I died and went to barbecue heaven. I think these folks are the only people north of the Carolinas capable of making a proper brisket. Ribs were incredible. Mac, greens, and yams on point. Even proper sweet tea. Highly recommended. I ate until I couldn’t any more and then I kept going.

At first I thought the place was closed, at the moment there’s some construction out front making the place look bad from the outside. The inside looks a little thrown-together but that’s not what you’re there for. The food was phenomenal, never knew kale or cabbage could taste that good. Candied yams were the star of the show, but the mac & cheese, beans & rice, bbq brisket, pulled chicken sandwhich, and sweet tea were all amazing. Owner came out and asked how it all was and gave me and my partner the greens and cabbage to sample since we didn’t order any, saying it’s not usually our preference. He gave us some cornbread too, then chatted us into some banana pudding and sweet potato pie. The pie was good, nothing to rave about. The banana pudding is definitely the move though. Best southern food I’ve ever had, and I’m definitely gonna have to come back in the future. Can’t see why you’d even think about going somewhere else for BBQ/soul food if you’re in the area

Love the name. And it gets better from there. Happened on this place by accident while waiting for another restaurant to open. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is nice. And as you walk in you are greeted by delicious smelling food. So i had to try. And it was great.

I got a free sample of their brisket, which was quite juicy and tender. At that point, I knew I was having a full meal of brisket. I ordered a sandwich with pickles and BBQ sauce and a side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich was amazing! Also that was the best Mac and cheese I’ve had in a while. 5 stars! No notes.
I’d like to see a Mac and cheese brisket wrap added to the menu in the future, the flavors are so great together.

Visiting from Delaware by way of Philly. A local who overheard us mention a different eatery, recommended we try here instead. We thought ok why not as it was close by. Since we gave 5 stars the locals must know something is special here!
Atmosphere: Ate here with my husband since we could not wait. The place is clean and can fill up fast with customers. We got the talking and you get treated well here. There is a sense of pride, family, and community.
Food:The portions were good for the price. Rice and beans were a bit dry but good spice. Greens are on point – heard they run out quick. BBQ chicken drumsticks – juicy and huge! Side of BBQ sauce – yes please. Ribs tender. Gave us a brisket sample and we brought some to go – made dinner the next day easy.
Good to know we have this southern BBQ joint just north of us. Will come back.

The service was good. The food was good too the score was not high mainly because of portion size. But overall it was good.
