The owner and staff are all very kind, personable, and friendly. They love the food there and being able to share it with our community. I have led multiple paint night events in this clean, decorated restaurant. The music is great and adds to the fun atmosphere. I love the Hawaiian florals, greenery, and neon signs. So beautiful! I love being there. I appreciate delivery as an option for the nights I stay home. Food was fresh and delicious!

Right on the historic Annapolis harbor, Blowfish Poké greets you with a big “Aloha” and a space full of bright Hawaiian décor and fun neon phrases. It’s larger inside than you’d expect, and the menu hits every classic Hawaiian craving you could hope for.
We started with a few chicken katsu musubi, which were fantastic, and I went for the “Big” Loco Moco—complete with mac salad and broccoli salad. Everything was spot-on: rich, comforting, and true to the flavors you want from a Hawaiian plate lunch.
The service was incredibly friendly, the wait was short, and the whole experience left us excited to return. Next time we’re coming back for the Ube Cheesecake, Kalua Pork, and definitely more chicken katsu. Five stars!

Just tried Blowfish today on a quick trip to DTA. The interior is very well decorated and there is a decent amount of seating. The staff was very pleasant.
I had a large poke bowl with red rice, salad, salmon and tuna. The salmon was very good and fresh tasting. The tuna didn’t seem quite as fresh sadly.
My wife had the Musubi Trio, one spam, one bbq chicken, and one chicken katsu. All of the meat was well prepared. The rice however was a little mushy and not quite what you would expect. It also needed typical sushi rice seasonings.
We also had two Hawaiian juice drinks and they were very tasty.
Overall, I think I’d give it another try.

This was my first trip to a poke place, and I wasn’t impressed. My first impression is it’s like a salad bar for a deconstructed sushi salad. The service wasn’t very good, couldn’t really explain to me how to make a good bowl, and the worker seemed to not enjoy being there at all. The food was not enjoyable, flavors were decent but the fish was kind of mushy and warm. Additionally, I ate with someone with a shellfish allergy who ordered no shellfish but had a reaction and couldn’t eat his food, so it appears the utensils are cross contaminated. Unfortunately I won’t go here again.

Walked in to Aloha! Left with a “thank you for coming in!” Then I got home and tasted it. Wowee! The chicken furikake plate was so delicious and perfect balance of seasoning, crunch, and flavor. Highly, highly recommend this spot! Even if you don’t love poke (what’s wrong with you) the hawaiian plates are incredibly delicious. Probably will be back tomorrow because I’m already thinking about that chicken… (mac salad was amazing too and rice was perfectly cooked!) 1000/10!

We visited this restaurant during our trip to Ego Alley, as it’s located nearby. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. We tried the chicken katsu with rice and a side of mac and cheese, and found it quite disappointing, rating it 1.5 out of 5. The coffee was average. However, the interior ambiance was impressive, with plenty of aesthetically pleasing, Instagram-worthy spots. The highlight of our visit was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and took the time to explain the entire menu in detail, which we truly appreciated.

Aloha….. trying something different in Annapolis. Stopped in to try Poke and it was great. If you’re into Hawaiian fare this is your place. Ask for recommendations, the staff is super friendly and fast. Definitely will be back.

Love Blowfish Poké! I used to live in Hawaii and love that there’s now a local place that is serving authentic Hawaiian dishes. The shrimp tempura plate was great and I LOVE I can get ube cheesecake now! The poké bowls near the water in the summer are going to be a perfect meal or snack to enjoy while walking around the dock. The service was quick and friendly, the prices were good with good portions, and the owner came to chat with me as well. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.
