I have not sat inside or upstairs but have seen it before and it looks so cute, warm & inviting. The drinks specials are always delicious and I love the themes they bring to life through the drink specials. Each drink is also served in a ceramic mug or mason jar which just elevates the entire experience. The owner is ALWAYS there and he’s the sweetest man. Always saying hi to the kiddos or asking if we need anything. He’s rarely staying still, I always see him jumping from area of the store to the cafe, putting out new inventory or organizing current. It’s great to see an owner be so hands on!
Blossom cafe is a must and should be on everyone’s coffee shop rotation!!
Little did I know that fate would intervene and plop me right in front of it a month later. So I went in.
WOW!
As for the ambiance…it’s like walking in to a wonderland of things you didn’t know you needed…but now you have it all at arms length. Books, locally made jams, sauces, Maple syrups, plants, and even jewelry are all part of this charming little Cafe.
And I need to emphasize the plants part of this, because adorning the exterior and interior are plants & planters that you can either just enjoy being surrounded by while you’re there, or if you’re a budding plant mom/dad, they’re also available to purchase.
Then there’s the Cafe side of things.
I opted to partake in my first-ever coffee flight (they used beans from La Colombe Coffee), choosing their Pop Tarts themed Latte Flight, and opted to try out their Farm Fresh Quiche (made that day with Spinach and Tomatoes).
The Quiche was heavenly, with every bite feeling airy and ever so delicate despite its solid looking slice. Most Quiches I’ve had in the past are rather thick and texture wise, very dense. Blossom.Cafe created an omelet that felt like I was eating a fluffy cloud the way they whipped the eggs into submission. Then added the spinach & tomato slices like they had been layered in there on purpose.
The Latte Flight, now that came in smaller cups (maybe 1 to 2 oz’s of coffee/espresso/lates could fit in each cup) and consisted of Four flavors: Frosted Strawberry (FS), Brown Sugar Cinnamon (BSC), Blueberry (BB), Hot Fudge Sundae (HGS).
FS & BB were okay, they tasted exactly as described but in the end they weren’t carrying a flavor profile I’d go back for.
However the BSC & HFS I would 100% go there again to enjoy in a full sized version (aka 12, 16, or if available..20 oz). The HFS does taste exactly like a mocha Latte, so in fairness its going to be a Latte most individuals will gravitate to, and the BSC is having its 5 minutes of fame, as a lot of coffee chains are hopping on the Brown Sugar coffee trend (2025, in case this review gets past its prime)…but Blossom Cafe blended this flavor combo well, balancing the deliberately sweet brown sugar with the Cinnamon (which on its own can cause coffee-based beverages to taste slightly sweet when added to black coffee) Anyways, it was delicious and not overly sweet, and I absolutely loved it!
I’m definitely coming back in for more food & coffees, but also to explore the upstairs part of their business and hopefully it will be warmer out, with more luscious plants brimming with life in the windows, on the shelves, and outside!
