The food is so good — we usually come here once every two weeks. However, the service this time was very disappointing. It wasn’t busy, yet we waited around 30 minutes and still didn’t receive our food. It felt like we were made to wait so long just because we asked for two separate bills. When we also asked for a refill of the sauce, the employee said they had run out even though the bottle was right there. The lack of attention and poor communication made the experience frustrating.

What a gem of a place. I personally vote this place as the best nachos in town. Normally, I like eating nachos there and when you do takeout, the chips get all soggy. Idk what voodoo magic they do but their chips stay crispy until I get home15-20 minutes later. I recommend the nachos with the carnitas meat. Perfect combo. I also absolutely love their tacos like carnitas, asada, and fish. The green sauce which I ask for a side is delicious and their red sauce is spicy, so beware.

Wanted to rate 5 stars, but I have several suggestions.
1. Prices on single tacos are quite high, would be nice if an option to buy 3 or more in a discount bundle option
2. It would be nice to have a few additional flavors or options available for taco choices also

Stopped by Block Taco for a quick bite. I chose a fish taco with chips and queso along with some nachos as an appetizer. The fish taco was better than average, the queso was good, and the nachos were delicious. The prices here are really pretty good. The guys behind the glass are trying to keep everyone happy and they’ll occasionally have a little fun with the poor people who are late in picking up their food.
When you arrive grab a menu out of the box on the post, walk up to the window and place your order. Then, move out of the way while others are called to pickup their orders.
When your order is ready they will call your name over the loud speaker/PA system. When you pickup your order you can add additional toppings at the toppings bar next to the pickup/order window.
There are outdoor, dog friendly seats as well as some indoor seating inside the bar area.
This is a great place for a quick inexpensive bite to eat.

Amazing nachos and tacos!!! My favorite ones are the carnitas one! I usually pair it with a margarita from satellite next door. It’s a small place by the bar that you order from a window and you wait about 10-15 minutes and it will be worth the wait. They have chairs available to enjoy the nachos and the drinks.

These are some of the best Tacos in Wilmington and really anywhere I have been in NC. For the size of the tacos they probably are just a bit pricey for the size of the taco because I can probably eat $20 worth of Tacos(4) . Outside of that the chicken, Asada and Carnitas are all excellent. I have been here several times and will keep going back. I do wish they offered diet soda. Only “non sugar” carbonated drink they have had when I have eaten there was flavored sparking water. The Nachos are a good price for what you get. They are the best Nachos I have tried so far in Wilmington. On Tuesdays you can get two tacos, chips and salsa for $10. Full menu is in my pics. On your left when facing the ordering counter there is a help yourself bar with sauces, cilantro, jalapeños etc… There are some seats just to the right of the ordering counter and to the left of the ordering counter down beside the building there are some larger nice tables. The atmosphere is always very nice with lots of people coming and going from the near by shops and restaurants. It is a really cool spot so if you are visiting or live in the area the is a must try.

Always stop here for a couple tacos and a beer at Satellite. A little pricey but so convenient and tasty. The nachos, guac, and fish tacos are the best. Service is quick too.
