What is a vegetarian doing in a steak house? Well I still went there because my friends aren’t and fancied meat. Andi hoped fora dish full of flavour. There were two vegetarian options: potato with sour cream or carrot soup. I wish I had taken the soup… was not a big fan of the potato… the potato was taste less… I was surprised that vegetables came along but the food has not been prepared with love… no taste. I asked for any spice, only Tabasco which I don’t really like. Then they offered kren… though it may have been old because it didn’t spice it up. I was disappointed that there was no chimichurri nor any Argentinian sauce.
My friends were disappointed of the meat. Apparently no taste either.
Service was friendly. Ambiance was nice, lucky for them they are near the Theater an der Wien…

We visited Block House in Vienna by chance as a party of six, and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was very good, well prepared, and satisfying, and the quality was consistent across all our dishes. The service was also very good—friendly, attentive, and efficient, especially considering our group size. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. We had a great time with good food and good company, and we would happily return.

Good steakhouse and convenient location near Karlskirche! The steak was cooked nicely and I loved the herb butter and garlic bread. Steamed vegetables were quite mushy and a little bland, but honestly I did not mind as the other parts of the dish were very well-seasoned. We also ordered a strawberry ice cream for dessert and it was super fresh! Good for people with peanut and tree nut allergies.

We had an early dinner with the kids and enjoyed a calm and relaxing time at this place after a full day of hustle and bustle in the city. The rib-eye steak and the filet were high quality and delicious. The accompanying salads were excellent, and the baked potato filled with a yogurt based topping was a perfect side dish. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was great.

It was a meat oasis in Vienna. I ate the rib eye and the stain loin and they were delicious. Salad with french dressing was a good choice for me. The bread that comes along with the dish was good as well. Service was always great, the restaurant owner should br proud of. Love the staff members photo downstairs!
