Idaho/western BBQ is all the same. Not my favorite, definitely not Texas BBQ if we’re using Texas as the standard. It had plenty of seating and the food tasted good. I don’t know what kind of smoker they have, but apparently it’s not big enough for a whole brisket (as the lady at the counter informed us), as they brought out shredded beef soaked in some spicy sauce, and had, at one point, been a brisket. It tasted good, but it was not traditional BBQ brisket. I think it’d be nice if they had photos up of their food so I knew what I was actually ordering. Everything tasted good overall, but I wish it felt a little more welcoming (staff issue)

Our friend from Louisiana knew what they were talking about—Blisters BBQ came through with some of the best pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans we’ve ever had! The smoky flavor is built right into the meat, smoked in-house fresh daily. If you’re anywhere near, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it!

this is not mac and cheese, this is play dough pretending to be mac and cheese. idk if the mac has been sitting all day or what but its just not good at all. the meat was alright tho, also if you get the fries, ask for them to be extra crispy because ours were a bit soggy, not terrible

Okay, the employee was great, the atmosphere was great, and honestly most of the food was good. But man, their brisket sandwich sucks. We ordered 3 tri tip sandwiches, 1 pulled pork, and 1 brisket sandwich, plus fries and fried pickles. The pickles were delicious and not soggy, the fries were good (could have been crispier), and the tri tip and pulled pork were classic BBQ, nothing to write home about but solid.
But the one thing that made me think, hmm, I should write a review and warn people, was the brisket sandwich. I was hoping for 2 to 3 slices of juicy brisket. I was surprised when it came out shredded, but I didn’t give up hope until I took a bite. From bite one it was a disappointment. My mouth didn’t know what to do and honestly wasn’t convinced there was even brisket in there. It was so tough, stale, and dry I could hardly chew it. Genuinely the worst BBQ sandwich I’ve ever had.
I think I might stick with Parks Place Smokehouse for my BBQ needs. Sorry Blisters, this just wasn’t the kind of food I would ever want to spend money on :/

We reserved a private room for our after wedding luncheon.. Not only was the food delicious but the price was very reasonable. The room held 24 of us comfortably. The food was delivered buffet style. They were flexible with our start time and the food was nice and hot. The staff was accommodating with our needs.and helped with the set up of tables and chairs the day before. It was a relaxing atmosphere for our informal meal. It’s so nice to have something like this in Rexburg. We checked around at various restaurants in town and this was the only place that was the right size for us. We had young children in our group and they adjusted the Mac and cheese to our specifications. Thank you so much!

Wow! I have been amazed by the pulled pork, fries and cornbread with honey butter! My husband and I loved our experience enough to cater our recent wedding. Although we were disappointed we could not cater the cornbread or fries, we still had a good spread for the event. We can’t wait to come back when we’re in the area again!

I tried the Nashville chicken sandwich. This was so crispy and juicy! Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve had. A little Spicier than I expected, so if you love heat, this one’s for you! The waffle fries we’re also perfect and crispy. The service was great and they were very fast. Can’t wait to try more of their menu items!

Braxton gave me the greatest service that I have ever received in a restaurant ever. He’s incredibly sexy and charismatic. he has eyes that looks like they’ve seen 1000 lifetimes, but feel as if they were made just for you. My only complaint is that his effortless charm only made me sad to leave his presence, and I left with a longing that I haven’t felt in what feels like eons.

The food was good, but not the best BBQ I’ve ever had. In my opinion, a good BBQ doesn’t require a sauce to make it good, but a good sauce transforms the BBQ. This food needed the sauce (one mark down) and the sauce tasted pretty basic. I also tried the tri-tip sandwich which was yummy, but putting a chewy meat like tri-tip in a sandwich was a little weird.

What a great find.
Amazing fresh fries from the original Idaho potato’s.
Very juicy brisket and the tasty smokey tri-tip. First time here and great food experience.
Of course inside a gas station store it’s not the best atmosphere.
They deserve their own place !! Highly recommended. Great personnel.
