Wow! Stopped by looking for a gluten-free meal with some food sensitivity restrictions and our party was blown away by how many delicious options were available here.

In addition to a cute ambiance and good service, the gluten-free options were tasty even to a non-gluten-free palate. Thanks for such a nice lunch experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Papillon review. Love this place for dinner. It is inside blissful spoon in the evenings. Moroccan food. So delicious. We had the chlada khamsa (5 salads) tanjia marrakesh (slow cooked tri tip) chicken bastilla and it was all so lovely. The olives marinated in tangerine are incredibly flavoral. The service is fantastic, friendly atmosphere and great for a date night. It is a breath of fresh air to have Moroccan food in town. Bonus, they can accommodate gluten free here as well!

Have gone for both brunch & dinner and both experiences were amazing. We went to dinner last week and got the spicy prawns appetizer, the spinach bastilla, the lemon chicken & the date cake and everything was absolutely delicious. This was hands down one of the best meals we’ve had in Bend in a very long time… our waitresses were lovely and very helpful. The chef also came out and checked in on all of the tables which was a nice touch!

I’m so pleased we live so close as we will absolutely return (hopefully this weekend :))

The belly dancers were What I said was this : I appreciate the female form and belly dance in particular as an art form; that I find strip clubs demeaning to both parties; not a question of affordability as you stated – feeble attempt to convolute and make me look cheap or possibly perverse. You promote it on your site as an event but, as you must know, presentation is everything. We had dessert and drinks after a meal elsewhere. I guess we are supposed to believe undulating fat/obesity is beautiful and to be celebrated. I don’t wish to offend as you are in the most difficult of enterprises but, you are disingenuous in your portrayal of this encounter. I suggest you put the same insight you do with your wait staff. churning, wait staff delightful

We arrived fairly early in the morning when there were only a few other parties, so it was surprising how poor the service was.

Our waitress seemed confused when we asked for a high chair for our 7-month-old. We had to ask for basic items like cutlery, and when there was a small spill, no one offered a rag or any help.

After finishing our meal, we waited over 15 minutes for the bill while trying to manage a fussy baby. When I finally asked for it, the waitress gave me a rude look, dropped the bill, and walked away. We ended up having to go to the front to pay.

Every request felt like an inconvenience. We also heard other customers wondering how to pay after waiting for long periods. One customer ordered fresh-squeezed orange juice and was told it wasn’t available until someone could squeeze more. When he offered to wait, he was then told it would take much longer than 10 minutes, which seemed unreasonable.

We were also disappointed by the lack of attention to cleanliness and safety in the bathroom. The electronic lid on the trash can was not working, so you had to touch the dirty lid after washing your hands. In addition, toilet cleaner was stored on the back of the toilet, which is not safe around curious small children.

Overall, the service, poor attitude of staff, and lack of basic hygiene and safety awareness made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would recommend.

My Espresso Martini was great. I also ordered the Avo Toast and was mostly very pleased. My meal was solid. The poached egg was perfect and the salad was nice and fresh. I loved the addition of sliced pickled onions. The only slightly disappointing part of my meal was the avocado mash. The texture and taste seemed processed rather than being a freshly mashed avocado. That’s on me though. I should’ve asked about it because I’m picky about avocado ton toast.

My wife and I enjoyed our first dinner at Papillon last evening and, and the Moroccan/Middle Eastern food at this restaurant is simply exceptional. We also found the pricing to be reasonable.

For appetizers, we ordered prawns and scallops, followed by Spinach Bastilla and Tanjia Marrakesh. Each dish was seasoned beautifully, and we found ourselves savoring each bite throughout our meal. We look forward to returning soon to try other items on their menu.

My wife eats here all the time with her friends. Went with her for birthday brunch on a Sunday. They were overwhelmed with number of guests so service was terrible. Didn’t get maple syrup with washed that was advertised on the menu. Wasn’t offered cream for my coffee had to ask. Cleared my plate and took my coffee cup without asking if I wanted a refill. I won’t be going back but my wife still likes the place.

The breakfast I enjoyed here this morning was like a breath of fresh air!

First of all, I didn’t expect table service, so that was nice in a time where so often we order at the counter and are expected to tip before our food order is called up.

I got the French Benedict, and it was by far one of, if not, the best breakfast meals I’ve had here in Bend. The puff pastry was light and delicate, beautiful. The asparagus and poached egg cooked perfectly. And the sauce was nuanced and not heavy, unlike a typical hollandaise sauce. The portion of ham was a generous size as well.

The ambience and music was bright and cherry as well. Service was great.

Eating out is expensive these days and I’m more selective about where my money goes. This place was worth every penny and I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you!

First off, I can’t say how much I appreciate having a local spot for bastilla! Not only is the food always delicious and consistent, the staff are gracious, the owners are kind and passionate, and the atmosphere always has a relaxed vibe. I was there recently on a night with a special event and a time limit on the table. The kitchen was slower than normal due to the amount of orders and many businesses, in a stressful crunch, could have rushed our table as a result. Refreshingly, the stress never trickled down to pressure us in any way and I appreciated that Mediterranean touch as we were peacefully allowed to take our time once the food arrived! That is a sign of attuned service and a welcome pace–I grew up here and find it funny that so many people here get annoyed with slower service but tout how much they love the relaxed vibe …give me a chill spot any day and I’m in!

And please put your delicious granola as an option on your dine-in breakfast menu
