I ordered a bowl but didn’t expect my food to come in a plate. Drinks were usual nothing bad about it. However the kitchen door was wide open and I was not happy to see how my food was cooked in that environment with two cooking pans lay out like that. Cook was not the nicest person. When my friend asked a plastic cup to bring her drink to go she proceeded to ask “for what”. Her attitude wasn’t the nicest.
When i asked the barista a quick question and walked away. The cook asked her “what did she say?” Overall my experience was okay but wouldn’t recommend for friendly and cozy vibes.

Order and pay at the front and pick your own seat.
We got the salmon avocado toast and prosciutto toast. Both were good, but nothing spectacular. I’ve had better but if you have nothing to compare it to, the toasts are good. For the price they only give a single toast slice whereas at most places it’s usually two.
My cappuccino was small and mostly latte-like. I like a cappuccino where you know there’s coffee in it rather than just milk.
They have plenty of delicious looking fresh pastries that I would give a try for next time.

Food was great! Really appropriated the front desk staff helping with getting our orders right and making us feel comfortable.
Area for improvement: the communication breakdowns between front desk staff and kitchen staff seemed to make the atmosphere feel a little tense a times. Perhaps getting an additional cook would help loosening things up a bit!

Cute place. They have coffee drinks as well as a few refreshing mocktails. I tried to rose mocktail and the chocolate chip muffin. The drink was a little ok, tasted like club soda with a rose syrup. The muffin was a pass.

I needed a place to stay & its a pretty cafe, but for some reason the kitchen was closed & I was not able to buy food? I didn’t a reason why but I guess the owner came & all of a sudden the worker opened the kitchen & she did it behind his back? coffee was great tbh but being sneaky about not doing the food was a lil crazy. & I overheard there is no napkins & worker told the lady to grab some tissues from the bathroom….like.

My second time coming here in the middle of a bike ride and I can say genuinely this will be my new spot!
With the variety of drinks and food to be had I am impressed with the consistency of the quality of the food/service from Bliss!

I’ve been going here for a few months now and would highly recommend it as a coffee lounge and general place to relax or work. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is mellow, and there’s ample seating and lighting. Its a great place for meeting a friend, reading a book, or doing computer work. The coffee is excellent, well sourced and batch roasted with hand-crafted and unique options (I recommend the Downtown Dulce). You can also order actual meals and they have a small selection of delicious desserts as well. Something to note though, this is a much more relaxed environment than your typical Starbucks. Its more of a sit-down and hang-out place, and not an in-and-out in three minutes sort of place. It may take just a few minutes longer than average to get your coffee, so if you’re in a rush just order ahead online. But its one of the most interesting and niche places in Sommerville and if you’re visiting Main Street, I highly recommend you start your day with a trip to Bliss Coffee.

You ever had one of those days when you’re not really sick but just feel go awful? I was having one of them wonderful days. So I asked Autumn at Bliss to “fix” me something for it
Well she gave me an orange spice tea with lemon and honey that worked like some sort of a magic potion of sorts. Damn that felt goooooood! And I was back to feeling so much better.
So I thought I’d come here and give a shout out to Bliss for saving my life. 🙂 Well done, guys!
