The local hot spot has now expanded to its second locale in Florence, KY, just outside of Cincinnati. Located in the Gunpowder area in the Blind Squirrel Center, ‘The Squirrel’ offers live music most nights on its indoor stage or outdoor patio that are steeped in both industrial-chic & beachy settings. The menu boasts usual staples & other unique fare that is enjoyed inside or out under the breezy palm trees. This place was AWESOME!! Highly recommend if you like the sports bar type of setting. They have a really good selection of drinks as well as food. Our waiter Cole was amazing as well!! This was our first time ever eating here and it did not disappoint! We will be back to enjoy a live band at some point as well!

Came here for my first meal in Covington as I’ll be frequenting the area for work and loved the menu from the internet and as an NFL fan & Fantasy Football guy, this place didn’t disappoint!
My first experience was great from coming in requesting a seat at the bar, to me ordering food and drinks. The food was hot, fresh and tasty & the service was great too! Very friendly atmosphere & attentive bartenders that even corrected my order when they got it wrong.

Been wanting to try this for a while. Made the trip today. Atmosphere was fantastic. Outside seating and inside seating with some couches for socializing was a nice touch. Food was absolutely amazing. Got the fried pepperoni and cheese curds. Great little app. Each of us got a burger. Have to say hands down one of the best burgers around. Someone actually knew how to season! Nice change of pace. Also nice that they know how to make a sweet tea! Prices were pretty good. About average. Waitress was very nice and friendly. I’d definitely recommend!

We’ve been wanting to try this place but it’s always crowded with no parking spots so we went on a Saturday around 2:00. Sooooooo good and they had a spicy blackberry margarita with jalapeños. The filet medallions and brussel sprouts were awesome!!!!!our waitress as perfect!!! We will definitely be back!

I had blackened fish tacos which were excellent! I would definitely get those again. Constructive criticism – the fish was a tad salty- not a game-changer- could just be my preference.

I had such an amazing experience here, and that’s thanks to my waitress Jada. She was so friendly and kind and always had a smile on her face. Jada’s energy and positivity was unmatched and she always made sure I was taken care of food and drink. Even when she was busy she made time for each table. You can tell she takes pride in her work. She is a giant reason I will be coming back. I will always be asking for Jada as my waitress.

Our first visit was great. The second one not so much. The twisted fries were over cooked and way too much salt. The hamburger was not good in my opinion. Kind of dry and hard. Only hate half. (Side note got really sick that night) my husband like the Beef medallions.

What is the point of having a waiting system sign in if you aren’t going to use it. We called ahead and asked if there was a long wait. The girl on the phone said no so we ventured in. Showed up and got signed into their text message system at 5:50 pm. The hostess said 15 mins or so for our table of 4 which was fine so we sat in the waiting area. I got a text message asking if we could do a high top but I declined because we had two small children in our party. The hostess came up to us as their system said we were next to be seated but they needed the low top tables for a party the came after us due to one individual being in a wheel chair which we were fine with. The hostess then told us a booth was about to open up and we could have that as soon as that table left. Another 45 mins passed as we waited and all of the sudden I got an alert on their seating queue system that said “we had been seated and enjoy our meal” when I approached the hostess and asked she said another random person had walked up to her holding a baby and she assumed it was my wife and sat them instead in the table we had waited over an hour for. No offer of any other table just a blank stare. I’m aware this won’t make any difference and neither would speaking to a manager as both our children were hungry and it would have been another 20 mins most likely till we even got any food. I’m disappointed in our experience tonight especially since we called ahead, got in the queue and waited patiently to just at the end of it have to load crying children up into the car and now try and find somewhere to eat as a last min choice. We’ve eaten here on multiple occasions and just couldn’t let this one slide.

sat at the bar last night for singo and had a great time! the people next to us told us that the two bartenders were their favorites when we sat down, and they were so right! mack and ellie were both so sweet and really on top of getting our food and drink orders even though the bar was full. my strawberry salad was a great recommendation from mack and my husband loved his philly. we will be back!
