Never been here before but my partner has. We decided to have a little fun and take the Harley out today in 94 degree weather which I highly don’t recommend ♀️ came in for lunch and we’re seated quickly. Our server was very fast and prompt. We clearly were in need of water and she had those on our table very quickly. Our drinks were delicious, I had some mixed berry cocktail and the bartender did an amazing job! My partner got the rib special and omfg those were amazing and falling off the bone. I got a burger, something with Matt in it and it was soooo wonderful! I have never finished an entire burger anywhere but I did today!
Anyways I highly recommend this place. Food was amazing and service was wonderful and friendly. Our server did forget to put in our fried pickles but things happen and I’m not going to fault her for an honest small mistake. I appreciate she realized after we got our meals and apologized for her tiny mistake. Not many people can do that anymore.

Nice pub and restaurant. Whether you want to just eat, drink, or catch a game this is a great place to do any or all of these things. The food is okay nothing special. I had a burger and the bun is huge but the meat is small and had Bubba burger vibes. The fries are well seasoned and good. My waitress was great. She checked on me and was friendly. I left hungry due to the small burger but this seems the norm in 2025. The prices are high for the portions, but it’s Athens so everything is expensive.

There are so many cockroaches in the outside eating area. We were stomping and smacking the roaches with the menus. I can only imagine the roaches inside the restaurant. The men’s bathroom had no soap and was dirty. If you like eating with roaches then this is the perfect atmosphere for you. The food was not good either. The wings, fries, and water was the only good thing food and drink wise. The wings are over price. The burgers were so dry. It tasted like it was a day old burger patty that the reheated and made sure it was extra dry. The waitress was nice and professional

Kinda bummed about our experience. We were in town for only 3 days and a couple people suggested we go to “The Blind Pig.”
Burgers were overcooked and tough.
“Medium” wings seemed to be more interested in “heat” than flavor. They, too, were tough and overcooked. I like spicy foods, but not at the expense of being delicious.
Server forgot I had asked for chili as my side. The phrase “French fries” was never uttered by either my wife or myself, yet there they were. Chili tasted like it sat all day in a cast-iron pot that had been scrubbed, but not rinsed: kinda metallic-tasting. Chili was basically one small “plop,” served in a bowl you normally use for salsa. Also, kinda peppery, once again substituting “bite” for flavor.
While working on my first beer, I asked waitress to bring the next in about 10 or 15 minutes so I had one with dinner.
It came less than 5 minutes later, I was still only halfway through my first.
The people were nice.
This location looked more like a chain restaurant than the “niche experience” we were expecting. Maybe it was a bad night, maybe it would have been completely different if we had gone to the other location.

My baby brother & only sister were visiting me here in Athens from Mesa, AZ. They know BBQ well having lived in Florida previously. My 1st time here also. Food was mediocre at best. For price & substance, we expected more tbh. My kids & grandkids visit also. I like to take em out to eat especially with all the Athens eateries. Won’t return to this one tho.

Have been longtime Blind Pig fans. We order wings to-go for Georgia games and we used to daydream about it when we lived out of state. We are not foodies by any means, but in the last few years the food quality has tanked. Tonight the wings were so dry, my sandwich needed twice as much chicken to be adequate and my six year-old said “the fries tasted like cardboard”—a literal yikes. The service was just fine. Pleasant girl, quick to engage us on a seemingly super slow night. But then we sat with empty drinks for the better part of our meal, passing around one large water for our kids as they ate dinner. I left saying “honestly, I don’t know that I want to go back ever again”. It’s too bad. I know it’s a fun atmosphere for games, but otherwise, not sure why you’d go here.

Have been here several times, but today for the first time I got the sweet potato tater tots…..OMG, I will get these EVERY time I come back. We love the mushrooms, the texture of the breading is perfect, they just need a little more flavor. Wings good, hamburger patties not too good. I have tried two different types, will not try again.

A neighborhood pub. Had a “local” vibe- at least the night I was there.
The bar area felt a little “rowdy” but in a good way. The Bartender was very nice and attentive.
I would imagine it gets pretty loud in there but that’s not a bad thing.
I ordered a sandwich which was served very quickly. It was a chicken salad melt. Hot and very juicy.
Pretty good beer selection, although they didn’t have my favorite – Fat Tire. They did have a nice collection of local brews.
In addition to the bar area there is a restaurant area and a very large outdoor seating area. Lots of TVs.
It’s in a shopping area so there is plenty of parking. The entrance and exit is kind of convoluted because of the car wash that is across the parking lot. Lots of coming and going.
This would be a good place to go with a group of friends. I would imagine that the service is consistently pretty good based on the personalities that I saw while I was sitting there. It was very clear that there is a group of regulars, so it must be a pretty good place.
This location is outside of the downtown area, but on the main highway. It is easily accessible.
It is convenient without the downtown traffic and parking issues, but it does not have a downtown feel.
In candy bar terms, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t. This is a good location for a casual drink and dinner with friends.

Beautiful place, very good onion rings BUT the burger was horrible. The meat was so cooked and hard it was like a rock. I ate alil bit of it than I ended up just taking it out altogether, banged it on the table and it didnt even flop at all. A tavern should make a good burger now… and ask customers how they want it cooked instead of cooking the crap put of it. Probably one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Very disappointing

We came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. It wasn’t busy and we got seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks are STRONG!! Not complaining though LOL. But one drink was good enough for me.
The food was good, but overpriced. I would come back again, but for the drinks. Overall great experience!
