Great atmosphere! Love the food! Accommodating to all tastes including vegan, vegetarian, and met eaters alike! Got to try the BBC Athol Ale. Goes with pretty much anything! Great wine and bear selection too!

This place is amazing. Food is rediculously good, it looks like something another restaurant would have on their menu pictures. Have coke now not Pepsi! Drinks were made to order, had some odd requests but the bartender, Cathy, was more than Happy to oblige our party requests. Food is amazing great portions and the pig bomb burger is delicious, definitely my favorite thing on the menu right now. Prices are really reasonable and they have specials on occasions for food. They do takeout now too!

Awesome. Great brew selection… different options than the last time I was here too. The food is amazing and a great value. Service was on point. Bartender/ waitress ruled the room on her own. Looking forward to coming back.

I will never go to this place again. My wife looked up places to go in the area. The reviews looked good so we tried it out. We had to ask if they had forgotten about us because the wait was so long. My wife’s burger bun was so badly burnt on the bottom she said it was like eating a piece of charcoal. I then decided to flip my burger over to see if mine was burned as bad as hers. It was not burned at all. Instead there was a big spot of mold on the bottom of my bun. We immediately told the waitress about both our meals. She made us pay for our appetizer and soda after that happened. This definitely ruined my night, not to mention my underwear on the way home. Thank God for walmart.

Food quality had significantly gone down hill. The owners daughter was bartending consistently and she was horrible. She would stand and eat right at the bar ignoring half of her guests because she had a few friends at the bar. I’ve never had to ask for service that much in a restaurant/bar. The hours were always inconsistent. They always have great beer is the only positive thing I can say about that place currently. Supposedly it has been bought out and is going to be revamped…. we’ll see how that goes and if I can update my review.

I’m new to the area and figured I would stop in for some food and a beer, didn’t really know what to expect. The place is pretty tiny, but the food is great and they have fantastic local beers on tap. The bartender was very knowledgable and let me taste a beer i didn’t know before i bought one. You don’t get that kind of friendliness everywhere (especially in restaurants around here that i’ve experienced so far), and when it’s accompanied by great food and great drinks, you’ve found a nice pub to hang out at. I’ll definitely be stopping back here again.

Great selection of New England craft beers on tap. Food is good, cheap and in large quantities so if you’re rock climbing in Western Mass this is a great spot to stop at on your way back to Boston! Warning though, the service is pretty slow – plan to be here at least an hour.

The food here was surprisingly very fresh and tasty. The cook really took his time dressing the plates beautifully. The staff was excellent and friendly even know it was really busy there. If you are in athol and need a drink at a bar stop here. Whatever you do don’t go to the only other option is the steal pub. And you can look at my other reviews or you can just take my word don’t go there…… Hahahaha blind pig is top notch for real….

The dinning room/bar was so poorly lit that it felt like midnight. My husband and I went for lunch late in the afternoon after a long day of house shopping in the area. We had the falafel for an appetizer and they were over fried and over seasoned, at least to us. My husband loves falafel so it made us very sad. I had their hamburger and it was charred nicely and was kept the perfect pink in the center…but it was dry and flavorless. When I asked the waitress, she told me the owner gets farm fresh grass fed beef and he leaves it alone to let the meat shine. I can understand good ingredients, but I cannot understand why it would be treated so poorly to have no actual flavor. My husband had the soup and salad. The soup was greasy and too salty, which is a feat since my husband likes things salty. The sandwich was alright, but nothing special. It was just a disappointing experience.
