We did order guacamole and queso, which were good, but unfortunately not good enough to come back due to the service. I’m not sure if this was just an off night, but I won’t be coming back to find out. With the lack of good restaurants in Yorba Linda, this was a real disappointment.
We sat on the patio and the server was very friendly and communicative. They brought us chips and salsa which I naturally couldn’t stop eating! Loved it!
I ordered a steak burrito, it’s big so be ready to eat. The steak was flavorful and the rice and beans inside tasted good. The other dish we ordered was Chicken tacos, the meat was cooked well and very flavorful.
We also ordered Tres Leches desert, it was OK. I wouldn’t order it again.
I’ve attached some videos and pictures. Check this place out! The service was good and the environment was good.
The food overall was good. I’ll visit again!
The ambiance and interior of the restaurant are beautiful. They have large booths and a gorgeous bar. The outside patio was occupied by a large party.
I started with the house margarita, which was tangy and sweet and reasonably priced at $11. For my meal, I opted for the 3-item combo, which included the taquitos, carnitas enchilada, and the Tony’s taco. All three dishes were delicious! The portions were generous for the price. My dad tried the mole and raved about its delicious and flavorful taste. The sauce had a subtle heat on the back end.
To end my meal, I ordered the tres leches to go. It was above average, but not the best I’ve ever had.
Don’t miss their happy hour specials – $7 house margaritas from 11 AM to 3 PM alone make it worth the visit.
It’s rare to find a place that truly checks all the boxes. The staff had perfect timing, checking in on us just when we needed something without being intrusive. We’ll absolutely be back!
Service was horrible. Took forever to flag down server. It’s understandable if it was busy but it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe 2-3 other tables. another server tried to take our plate while we were in the middle of eating.
I noticed 5 people behind the babar
As looked around I could see people with there checks ready to be rang up. Finally we sat down and waited 10 minutes for someone to come take are drink order.
I casually said to my wife this place has 5 people behind the bar and service is very slow.
The female bar tender turned to me and said I heard that.
I then said I am having a conversation with my wife if you would like to ease drop then that’s on you.
She began to get uptight like she was ready to tell me off. I said to her was there is a lot of people behind the bar.
She gave me a dirty look and said I will be making your drinks next.
I could help notice that the time we spent there all of the people behind the bar where on there 4 th set off shots.
Billy came over to us and said as very polite and was able to accommodate our service.
But for me it was too late. We got are check and headed out
Miss managed this could be a better ran of the manger was doing there job.
