Tried this gem a few days ago for the first time. My burger was juicy and cooked perfectly, fries crispy and golden, and the oysters were scrumptious. Service is very friendly, Bartender – Nemo was very attentive and happy to tell me about their beers, Happy Hour specials, and Brunch.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and it is obvious that he cares about his customers experience both with the food and the service. This a very welcoming/come as you are place with a laid back vibe – you can feel comfortable dining alone. Great place for grabbing a bite, drinks with friends, and unwinding after work.
*Second time- try the wings and Bang shrimp Happy Hour specials! Service just as great as the first time. Enjoyed some live music patio. Regretting not getting the name of the other bartender- he was great too!

This cafe is in a retirement community so when you enter you have to go through the gate and get a visitor pass from security. If you follow parking directions you will come to a tall building between Oakmont and Rosemont and the cafe is inside the lobby on the right side. Excellent menu and delicious coffee. Outdoor seating is the best and great view.

Service score is only because you order at the counter and usually pick up your own food and clear your table when finished.,,food is fresh and counter staff is very nice. I wish it was open later than 2 pm and on Friday.

The Blend is a casual breakfast & lunch dining venue in the Shell Point retirement community. A nice menu and friendly prices. Dine in or out on the covered patio to enjoy the lake view. When your order is ready they call out your name…so a bit like Cheers, everyone knows your name.
