Yo, if you don’t know, you better ask me about Blazing Jay! I got the soul food bowl featuring Mac n cheese and greens on the bottom with candied yams and what I will call “candy cornbread” on top with 3 perfectly golden brown catfish fillets (you can substitute fish for fried chicken if you want). It’s all curbside delivery with no inside eating, but the taste is worth waiting in the parking lot. Plus Jay is a warm and friendly young man. When we had a little longer wait than expected, he treated us to their house special blend Kool-Aid which is very tasty and sweet (you can add ice without watering it down) and fresh from the oven, delicious red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Me and my family will definitely come again!

Drive up service was very accommodating and staff was extremely nice. The Soul Bowls were $10 a peice, so a great price for lunch! The food was on the salty side. If not for the candied yams to balance out the saltiness of the other items, I wouldn’t be able to eat. Just a few changes and the food would definitely be worth coming back for.

I was surprised that they came to the car and took your order….but everything that was ordered was very fresh and flavorful. Watch the sodium for some, shout out to Brandon and cook ambassadors…. I came from KC and I was excited about trying it. Everything was fresh and cooked to order.

Wait was long but the food is good. The server came to my car with a menu then he took my order with my payment. I liked the service. The prices were pretty good too. I paid about 48 and some change for a shrimp and crab boil, fish basket, a burger basket, and a chicken strip basket. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Blazing Jay was so GOOD! I love the plating of the food! It is TO GO so you should order in advance or you will have to sit in your vehicle to order which was fine with me! Customer service was great! & the food was bomb! The prices and deals were also SUPER reasonable ! Me and my boyfriend got their soul food bowl with fried chicken & fried catfish! It was so good! Highly recommend! THANKS AGAIN GUYS I WILL BE BACK!

I was a bit shocked that they came outside to take our order, but at the same time didn’t know what to expect for the first time.
They were very friendly and helpful but sadly sold out of a few things on the menu. Definitely speaks volumes for this small shop, so I guess that just means we’ll have to come back earlier to try things out!
The food came out hot and tasted as delicious as it smelled! I gotta say my $10 was more than well spent here. 10/10 got my recommendation to try out and come back for more!

Found their food truck at the craft show in Purcell and I’m so glad we did. Their soul bowl with shrimp was outstanding. My bf cleaned up his creole bowl very quickly! I look forward to finding their brick and mortar location!

Ordered online, waited 20 mins, arrived for pickup and they hadn’t checked the online orders so we had to wait again for them to prepare. Chicken “strips” basket is actually 4 tiny chunks of chicken, which is insane for $12. Fries are not at all crispy, garlic Parmesan flavor was mid. Cornbread was good, soul food was pretty good, burger was good. Service was not good and the chicken was a rip off. $12 and it doesn’t even come with fries

I love some soulfood, and I tell you this is not it. No AC, so inside was close.. wait, it was ridiculous. Food was ridiculous and gross, not just nasty. Service was ridiculous, waited over an hour, and went inside and tell me why, just why ole Glory greens five cans sitting on the counter cheese burger was so…fish…soul food bowl… gumbo saugage burnt. I spent well over $50 dollars, and my wife and I threw every bit of the food in the trashcashier sweating like playing basketball.. big, grumpy guy in the back bellowing… never ever again..
