Last night, I celebrated my nephew’s 14th birthday with my family (a party of 15) at The Blazing Bird (Westminster)
This was my first experience at this franchise, and I must say—it was flavorful and pleasantly spicy.
I ordered the #1 Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo, where you can select your heat level on the Scoville scale, ranging from mild to blazing hot. My sandwich came with coleslaw inside, which was a delightful touch and perfectly complemented the heat of the hot chicken sauce.
What truly set the experience apart was the staff. When the manager realized we were celebrating a birthday, she surprised us with a complimentary order of their delicious fried Oreos. As we sang “Happy Birthday” to my nephew, the staff joined in, and to our surprise, they followed it up by playing Las Mañanitas, a Spanish birthday medley, over the intercom.
“That gesture was an unexpected and a memorable delight”
The manager personally thanked us for choosing their location and for supporting a local business.
In closing, The Blazing Bird delivered a flavorful dining experience, and the outstanding staff elevated it even further. Thank you all—we will definitely be back.

Came to this location of the Blazing Bird chain in Westminster for a Friday night dinner and a Saturday lunch, because the chicken sandwiches are pretty tasty! You can choose from several chicken dishes, smashed burgers and chicken wings, along with how spicy you want the chicken to be for your sandwich, too. Prices are reasonable and not too exorbitant. Lots of tables and seats, was very clean and neat inside the restaurant, along with free parking in the lot outside. Recommended!

I stopped by here to checkout their wings but wasn’t impressed. The food was ok but it’s the serivce that was pretty bad. I’m not sure who the manager was or if there was one but I saw both cashiers at the front counter using the same vape. One guy used it at the back door (while it was open) and then handed it to the other guy and he went out the front doors and used it right outside the door. I didnt see either of them washing their hands and the first guy was handling transactions and then using the vape and then the customer wanted some more ranch and handled her the ranch cup without washing his hands. This is a food place. Workers have to take washing their hands seriously and the health and safety of customers seriously. Do better guys! The prices are very overpriced for mediocre wings.

Super disappointed, my chicken didn’t even cover the bun half the time I was just eating bread and lettuce. For 15 dollars you guys need to do better. I added a picture of what they advertise the sandwich to look like. Definitely lost my future business from this

Sub Par food all around. I ordered the #1 OG Chicken sandwich.
In the 10min after getting it, I sat in my car. The bread was low quality and soggy, the Nashville sauce tasted like chilli power not a well blended sauce. The fries were stale and for being 10min old they were not warm enough.
The Coke was also flat with little carbonation.
Drive through service was fine.
Will not go back, def going to drive a few min more to get Dave’s HC.

Can’t read the receipt. Can’t speak English. When remaking the food correctly, they ruined it by pouring a ton of spice all over it. All because I told them it was wrong. They couldn’t even understand why it was wrong when it clearly says half buffalo half dry on the receipt. Stupid and Mean.

The staff here is always amazing! Marisol works the cash register. She is so helpful and sweet! The food is also very good. The wings are good size and good price, they have good deals on their wings too. Awesome spice level as well.

I was visitig Colorado a few days ago and came accross this lil fast food restaurant. Restaurant got my attention while driving. It looked very clean. Well…it did not disappoint! The restaurant was very clean inside and the food was amazing! Staff was really friendly as well. Food taste really FRESH! Got myself the early bird burger meal and taste was amazing. Now I am back in LA looking to find a similar restaurant. Now I can add this restaurant for my future visits in Colorado (:

I had a really disappointing experience at Blazing Bird. I specifically ordered my food without coleslaw and without pickles. When I got home and opened my order, it had both pickles and coleslaw on it. I drove all the way back and politely asked if there was anything they could do. They kept saying no because they were about to close. I told them that if they couldn’t remake the food, that was fine, I would at least like a refund since I couldn’t eat it the way it was made. They refused that as well. The employee at the window seemed completely uninterested in helping. He was talking to his friends at the window instead of focusing on the situation, and his behavior was very unprofessional. He honestly appeared intoxicated, which made the situation even more concerning. The most frustrating part was the dishonesty. He repeatedly kept telling me, “Let me go ask the manager,” and would walk away to talk to someone inside. I clearly saw the manager there. I saw him communicating directly with her, and there were two other girls working in the back. However, the moment I asked to speak to the manager myself, I was suddenly told she “wasn’t there.” Coincidentally, after all that back-and-forth of him “asking the manager,” she was supposedly gone. That was simply not true I saw her there and saw them talking. It felt like they were deliberately avoiding accountability instead of handling the issue professionally. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. But refusing to fix an incorrect order, denying a refund for food I couldn’t eat, acting unprofessional, and then lying about management being present is unacceptable. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this location due to the extremely poor customer service.
