This is the first truly Muslim- and Kosher-friendly dining experience I’ve had in Ames.
Ashley, Trenton, and Griffin were exceptionally respectful and honest. When I explained that I do not eat pork, they prepared fresh vegetables from a lower shelf that had not been touched with gloves used for pork and used clean equipment. That level of care made a real difference.
This was the first time we were able to eat pizza with complete peace of mind.
If these employees are eligible for recognition or a raise, they genuinely deserve it. Please take care of and retain this rare type of staff.

I ordered takeout so I didn’t really experience the atmosphere. This was my first time ordering from Blaze and it was delicious! I need a gluten free crust, and had so many toppings to choose it took a while to decide. The end product was perfect. I’ve had gluten free pizza crust from several other places when I lived in Virginia and they weren’t even close to mine from Blaze, as well as costing about $5 more for the same size. I’ll be a regular there!

Blaze Pizza has good food, but honestly the staff is the best part. Everyone is always super friendly, chill, and helpful, no matter how busy it gets. They keep things moving and still manage to have a good attitude. I’ve been here plenty of times and have never had a bad experience. The team really makes this place enjoyable and keeps me coming back.

Great pizza and service, but be careful ordering the roasted garlic topping. The tips on most of them were very very hard and hurt to bite down on. Otherwise delicious!

They burn the pizza EVERY TIME I go there. I always have them remake it. This time I had shoulder surgery and couldn’t drive. My friend picked up the pizza for me and told them to make sure the pizza isn’t burnt. They told him if they use fresh dough it won’t burn. Long story short. They burned it. I called back to see if they could fix it. They wouldn’t give me a credit for the burnt pizza. They refused to give me a refund. They said the only way to fix it is if I drive there. I told them I just had shoulder surgery and that’s why my friend picked up the pizza so coming back isn’t an option. They said they can’t do anything for me. Absolutely abysmal customer service and quality of the food. It tasted like burnt garbage. Called back and the manager said he has all my personal information and if I call again (I called twice. First call was 30 seconds long and he hung up on me) second call he threatened to show up to my house and harm me. Managers name is Mike.

Whenever I come to Ames I always eat at blaze Pizza. When people ask me what kind of pizza place it is, I said it’s like a Subway but it’s pizza. You get to either choose signature pizzas from the menu or you can choose individual ingredients. There are even dessert options. It’s always very quick and I love the choices. My teenagers also love this place and we’re never disappointed. I just wish LeBron didn’t own 10% because I hate putting money in his pocket. I’m going to give it five stars because I love the product. But I will say every time I go there it’s hard to find a table that’s been cleaned and I feel like the eating area could be a little more picked up, swept, tables wiped down, etc.

Great food and service! Best way to describe it that is easy to understand is like it’s a Subway for Pizza! Mix and match creating your own and many options! Highly recommend giving it a try! Pizza is enough for 1 or just a couple slices to take home. Also have a great alternative for their fountain pop straw waste with a lid that already has a hole.
