Very disappointing experience

We had a very bad experience at the Blaze Pizza in Clifton Park. We ordered three pizzas to take home. The staff member assisting us was rude and did not ask what toppings we wanted. She also charged us incorrectly — a simple cheese pizza was charged at the “build your own” price.

When we got home, the pizzas were undercooked and missing basic ingredients like proper cheese and bread texture. The pizzas had almost no flavor at all.

I felt uncomfortable in the store because the employee was mumbling and seemed irritated, and I didn’t want to create further problems at the time. This was especially disappointing because we love Blaze Pizza and have been regular customers, but this visit was a horrible experience.

We placed an order for 4 pizzas this evening for pickup. The pickup time was 5:45pm. We waited in the restaurant for 45 minutes, finally receiving our food at 6:30pm. When we left, the 3 pizzas that were sitting there while they “remade” the last pizza they made incorrectly the first time were all cold. When we got home after a 20 minute drive, we realized every pizza in the order was made incorrectly, and two were completely undercooked and raw. One of those was an order for a pregnant person. When trying to call the restaurant to complain, their phone is disconnected (how convenient for them). Absolutely disgusting and terrible dining experience. We ended up throwing out all of the pizzas and had to get something else for dinner. $68 down the drain! I also filed a complaint with corporate, and reached out to them via Facebook.

Everything was AMAZING!! My family and I have been here multiple times and have never been let down. Today, we ordered pickup for 5:35 and upon entering we were greeted by the man cooking the pizzas. He was very kind and courteous! As we were waiting for our pizza, which he had ready for us earlier than our pickup since we arrived early, we watched him address and solve everyone’s needs quickly and efficiently. Going above and beyond to solve everyone’s needs and delivering the best customer service I’ve seen. The food was also, as always, delicious!!!

I placed a pickup order from Blaze Pizza through a food delivery app and had a very disappointing experience. My pizza was completely burnt, bitter, and could not be eaten at all. I didn’t know it until I got home.

I contacted Blaze Pizza and sent them my receipt as requested. Their response was generic and didn’t address the issue. Instead of offering a real apology, compensation, or any real support, they told me to sign up for a rewards account and keep ordering to earn points. That felt dismissive and unprofessional.

If I hadn’t placed the order through a food app, I wouldn’t have gotten a refund. Be cautious if you’re ordering pickup, please remember to check your food before leaving, and keep your receipt. I wouldn’t recommend this Pizza brand based on my experience. Thank you for reading.

We come here all the time the food is awesome! The service today though was awful. I always get peperoni and bacon on my cheesy bread but she said I couldn’t do it this time because of a policy change but has also always not supposes to? Why is it a create your own if I can’t customize my order? I’m baffled by this because that’s all I have ever gotten from here so if I can’t order it I will no longer be a customer. This is awful to me because it was once one of my favorite places to eat. Hope this can be fixed or given more clear instructions. The employee was not willing to make it right or come up with a solution so we canceled the order and left.

We love the Blaze in Clifton Park. The employees are exceptionally nice, accommodating and friendly. Our food is always delicious and made exactly how we order it. Today is my daughter’s birthday and out of all of the restaurants, she requested Blaze for her and her friends. Absolutely delicious and exceptional service as always!

I have to check to make sure each order isn’t burnt or missing something, because half the time it is (besides the crust always having burnt edges). Wouldn’t come here if my son’s favorite weren’t the s’more, which wasn’t even melted or warmed up tonight, despite not being busy. My husband never checks, and we end up with a bad experience each time he picks up. Last time he picked up, I ordered a entree salad through the app (which doesn’t allow customized salad), and it was half empty & missing dressing. The next time I went back, I asked for the dressing, and the woman who didn’t warm the s’more said I had to pay for the dressing, as if I were lying about dressing missing from a previous order. I’ll chalk up the poor service to smoke inhalation from the open oven.

Other peeves:
The Mobile Order Pickup shelves cool, rather than keep warm, the pizza.
Fresh basil isn’t listed as a Finish, so I have to specify, “**Fresh Basil after cooking, not before”. If it’s cooked (read: burnt), then it’s not fresh.
Wish Blaze would avoid loading the center of a pizza with sauce & toppings, so it wouldn’t get soggy. Despite the sogginess, a lot of adults like my Red & Green pizza; see screenshot.

Enjoyed lunch with the husband here yesterday.
Very nice experience – friendly staff, good food, and overall pleasant. I always love their crust, honestly very good for a fast casual chain. A nice change up also from the usual fast casual options of burgers, etc.
We ordered one chicken bacon ranch and one green stripe.

Not bad for a weekday lunch stop. I came in when the doors opened. The area was very clean and orderly. Prep area was well organized.
The ingredients looked fresh, and tasted fresh. If you area cheese lover, you will love this place.
I’m not a big fan of he drink selections. I always wish there were more sugar free options besides diet soda. No one ever offers seltzers or iced quality unsweetened teas anymore.
One compliant if I have to point something out. The staff member was bouncing back and forth with an online. Order. One was gluten free dough, the other was not. She didn’t change her gloves between handling doughs. Nit-picking I’m sure. But still, gluten free is gluten free.
Other than that, I love blaze overall for a quick pizza option.
