Great food, drinks, music and atmosphere make Blarney Island the “Greatest Boating Bar In The World!” There are docks for up to 300 private boats, a helipad, and a boat shuttle service that runs two 40 passenger shuttle boats to/from the Island Thurs-Sun and on holidays

We thought it was a lot of fun. They had a band that was playing really good music.
We ordered the mozzarella sticks and the Mac and cheese bites. The sticks were standard fare and good. The bites I liked.

We didn’t eat here. But we did have a great time. We took a fairy to the island. The view was great on the way in. The place was cool and fun. They had a live band. Which everyone was enjoying. Yesterday I went there with my friends and at first everything seemed fine, but when I went to the bathroom it smelled terrible and wasn’t clean at all. As for the food, I ordered a burger and mozzarella sticks, but the burger patty wasn’t cookes well . When I went to pick up my order, there was also a woman waiting for her fries, which weren’t properly cooked either.

First time and it was the last day of the season. I forgot to post but I wanted to say even though it was not as packed as I’m sure it is in the summer, we did have a great time. Food and drinks were good. Live band was nice and we will definitely be back this year!!!

It was my 1st time to the island. I came to see the boat races as part of a fundraiser for State Representative Tom Weber.
I’m not into bars so probably won’t return but I really enjoyed the time I was there.
The races were exilerating. Being able to see the boats up close was cool.

I do not hate Blarneys. In fact. I’ve never had a bad experience there before this sunday. When I arrived. I grabbed my backpack which I always have on me and headed onto the dock before the rest of my family with my brother. When I got to the dock your security guard told me he doesnt allow bags that big on the island. Ok, whatever. I’ve had it before but no big deal. I turn around to go put it back on the boat and yell back to my family “dont bring your bags they aren’t allowed”. For whatever reason your security guard decided I was then giving him attitude and yelled at me saying “if youre gonna have attitude dont come on the island and dont come back” I had to turn around and tell him “no one is giving you attitude I’m telling my family the exact thing you just told me.” I went to the boat with my mom and boyfriend and then came back. We enjoyed our drinks and as we were enjoying our drinks. A person with a huge cooler showed up. Was allowed on the island. A person with a backpack twice the size of mine was allowed on the island. And 3 people with swim bags all at least double the size of my bag were allowed on the island. My aunt also pointed out that she was allowed to bring her bag which was the same size as mine on the island. My other aunt went to ask the security guard what was wrong with my bag and he told her “I allow purses and shoulder bags, not backpacks.” OK well another backpack was allowed on the island. And my backpack is my purse. I had to hold my wallet in my hand the entire time I was there, which is a safety hazard.
When we were leaving I walked up to the security guard with a smile on my face and asked him “so is there a reason I couldn’t bring my bag onto the island but other people were allowed to bring bigger bags than mine on” and once again he cocked an attitude with me and yelled at me telling me not to give him attitude. When I legit just wanted an actual answer as to why I couldn’t bring my bag with 4 items in it. And it was open ready for him to check. But 5 other people in the span of the 60 minutes we were there got to bring theirs on. The only answer I got was that your security guard is racist and picks and chooses certain rules for certain people.
Dude does NOT know what attitude is and should not be allowed to talk to the public. He either has no idea how to talk the general public OR considering YES I was the ONLY person of color there with a bag and the only one not allowed to bring their bag on the island, hes a racist. But im gonna go out on a limb.. not really cause it was pretty blatant. And say its the latter.

Went their last month in the middle of May. Fantastic experience. They went over above and beyond of my expections. The two lady servers were helpful and keeping with consistent communication with letting know the portobello tacos ran out. They also mentioned that there’s one chef that’s new and I was alright and understanding because I know hospitality can be challenging. I got one of their burritos that was super delicious. The food prices may be a bit reasonable for some but it’s because it’s a bar attraction. They were able to compensate my food and I knew I will come back again! The music and dancing vibes definitely feels like you are going to one of the Carribean Islands. The drinks are very reasonable though! We have stayed for many hours. Good vibes! Thank you all for being awesome!

Always a great time at Blarney Island. Plenty of space inside and out. Only issue at times is finding a place to dock your boat. Thursday nights are busy for the boat races there and you pay to dock on Thursdays when they have the boat races. When we went on a Friday afternoon, we did not have to pay to dock. Good times ahead! Enjoy!
