We really enjoyed Blanco’s! Everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The DJ kept the vibes going and there were a couple of people celebrating their birthday which made it that much more enjoyable. To top it off the food was delicious! We did have a slight wait but it was very worth it. Definitely will be coming back whenever I’m in town.

I had a really good experience at Blancos. First off, the service was on point, attentive without hovering and everything came out in a timely manner. The restaurant itself was extremely clean, which always matters to me and the music was set at the perfect volume. We could actually talk, laugh and hear each other without shouting, which is underrated these days.

For food, I tried the watermelon salad and it was fresh, light and well-balanced, perfectly dressed and refreshing, not overly sweet.

I also had their signature burger and it delivered. Juicy, flavorful, cooked right and paired well with the fries. It felt like a proper sit-down burger, not greasy, not sloppy, just solid and satisfying.

Overall, Blancos strikes a great balance: good food, good service and a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. It’s an easy spot for a casual lunch, catching up with family, or just enjoying a meal where you can actually enjoy the conversation too. I’d definitely go back.

I recently dined at Blanco’s and was pleasantly impressed. The food was delicious — I had the lamb chops served with potato and sweet potato, followed by a rich caramel bread pudding for dessert. The tables were clean, and the staff was punctual and attentive when seating and serving guests. The music selection complemented the atmosphere nicely, and the drinks paired well with each dish. The overall scenery was chic and modern, making it a comfortable yet stylish dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning for brunch with friends soon.

I’m not sure whether it’s too many people on the payroll & that’s why the prices are so high, or if it’s the building rent, or what. But if I were the owners…certainly some changes would need to be made. $12 for 5 shrimp on a salad…ridiculous! The lunch special has two items on it. Two…nothing else. The lunch menu is hardly any different than the dinner menu & the prices reflect the same, both of which are disturbingly high! $24 for a sandwich during lunch…if the building rent is too high, find another building. Don’t subject your customers to higher prices consistently & then give them 5 shrimp on a salad they paid $24 for. Sitting at the bar downstairs is a joke…it’s so high it’s insanely uncomfortable regardless of your height but that feedback was most unwelcome when I mentioned it to the owners in a very kind way. Still I came back & paid 30$ for a salad with 5 shrimp on it…a mistake I won’t make again.

This is not a spot to go to if you just want to have a “nice meal”. This is a place to gather with family and friends for a great meal and a great time! Food was next level with delicious beverages. We visited for Saturday brunch and absolutely loved the brunch charcuterie board. What an awesome meal for two(with leftovers) Outstanding variety of your fav breakfast foods that was beyond delicious. Very creative. One of the “Best things I have ever eaten”. The server was great but I must be honest it took longer than normal to get our meal. However the wait was very enjoyable listening and toe tapping to the music being played by a live DJ. It was quite the vibe.

This place is truly a gem. Great food and a nice atmosphere but please pack your patience and the service is a tad slow. Would that discourage us from returning, definitely not as the food was outstanding.

First time visiting. Met someone coming from out of town so she & I were both STARVING!

We walked a half mile to get there & were greeted by music, warm reception & DELICIOUS food!

And for those who sleep in late or crave a midday brunch–it lasts until 3pm!

Fabian was our delightful & professional server & made the experience truly lovely.

Thank you Fabian & thank you Blamco’s! I’ll be back for the Signature Blanco’s Burger!

I ordered the “Smothered Turkey Chops”! Now what was on my plate and delivered was a different story. Bait and switch in effect!

The portions were disappointing and not proportionate to the price paid. The sides were maybe 3oz sides (if that) and the “Turkey Chops” was not what the name suggests. And why it’s plural (“chops”) on the menu is beyond me when I was served ONE fried strip/piece. $28 mind you!!!! Micky D’s, TGI’s, Applebee’s even do WAY better for less. I’ll say it again – One strip/piece!!!

The best description for that single strip/piece of “Turkey Chop” (I wasn’t sure it was Turkey but possibly it was chicken) is that it looked like a fried chicken tender you’d get with an appetizer. And after the meal, I wished I’d gone somewhere and gotten an actual appetizer and saved the money.

$28 for a SINGLE Turkey/Chicken strip, a scoop of “Glory” greens, a scoop of allegedly “garlic” mashed potatoes that looked burnt and with no detectable garlic flavor. And came with maybe 2 tablespoons of gravy – a far-far cry from anything resembling smothered!!

I was NOT expecting one fried “Turkey” tender where nothing on the menu indicated “Fried”. I wouldn’t have ordered it! I dont do fried. But I didnt feel like the hassle of sending it back – not to mention I thought it was a single chicken finger. The menu clearly says slow simmered! It WAS FRIED!

Someone needs to teach the cook, the manager, and update the menu presented to the customer. There is a BIG difference between a fried turkey/chicken finger and something slow simmered! Night and day outcomes. And the “Smothered Turkey” was supposed to come with caramelized onions – they were VERY very absent from my plate.

Overall, it was a meager food truck type portioned meal (maybe you’d get better quantity and quality from a food truck?) and quite disappointing.

The young lady who served us was friendly and professional.

I cannot and will not recommend this place based on my overall experience. While what is listed on the menu appears tempting and tantalizing; the actual deliverable product was a HEAVY disappointment.

My first visit may have been my last!

I was really looking forward to visiting Blanco’s, as I love supporting local Black-owned businesses. While I loved the cozy decor and my drink was excellent, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.
We experienced several service lapses: my partner’s water didn’t arrive until the food was served, and our server never checked back in after dropping off the plates, making it difficult to request condiments or the check. Additionally, both the beef short rib and salmon skillets were only warm, and the skillets themselves were room temperature. It would’ve been nice to see the service match the great aesthetic at Blanco’s.
Unfortunately, due to the service I don’t think I’m willing to give this spot another try.
