I ordered the chili con carne. I got asked if I wanted to pay more to get other stuff added to it, and I said I’ll take it however it normally comes. One worker gave me a funny look, and said some stuff in Spanish I didn’t understand and although I didn’t understand everything, I definitely got “Malaca”.

I wish they would’ve told me that nobody orders the chili con carne bowl because it’s just a scoop of gross chili in styrofoam instead of just calling me an idiot in Spanish. My bad I guess.

Including a screen shot of my original review of this location from 4 years ago. Today is the final straw for this Blakes location, they are done getting any business from me. Today my Mom was charged $40 for 3 of her 5 orders not having any eggs (but charged the $5 egg surcharge) and 2 out of the 5 for not having any bacon but charged full price. Tried calling and get nothing but a busy tone. Headed back to Blakes to get my Mom a full refund.

This is the 2nd time in a week. Last weekend got breakfast burritos and all 4 were wrong. Some had chile that shouldn’t have others didn’t have the correct kind of chile and didn’t have sausage or bacon. Just a mess. Today ordered burgers and they were the worst dried up burgers I have ever had here. It seems like they had cooked them days before. The quality of the food is terrible, so disappointed. Need training!!! Maybe I’ll try a different location I’m banning this one!

This is obviously not ALOTA anything! I read a review about how awesome the chicken sandwich was with green chiles on it. WHERE ARE THEY?! Sixty cents extra for three tiny chopped chiles. Also, this MEDIUM fry was over $3.
Top it off with lettuce wilted to death, and a teaspoon of Blake’s sauce that didn’t even cover the bun, let alone the chicken. I spent nearly $30 for this sandwich meal, a second chicken sandwich, which was also this lame, and a tender basket. No thank you.

Great burger! I just had a basic bacon cheese burger. Was absolutely delicious. Barely any grease. Fries were cooked very well!
No salt on them or hardly any so you can add your own amount to your taste. Or just use whatever sauce you like!

My wife and I winded up here after a long day’s trip. We used to frequent this place many years ago. We have noticed that the hamburger size is just not quite the same as before. They must be using skinny cows now. The quality of the hamburger was good.
However I kept having to go back for condiments because they forgot to put them in our bags.

We come from Texas and we use to compare them to Wataburgers back home. Now that’s not the case. They need to change the name from Lota Burger to Blake’s burgers.

I would say that it’s worth a try once at least. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to get one.
