This location sells burritos all day long. The taste of their carne adovada is great. My.
Only complaint is that Every time I order extra meat, They never do it. It’s disappointing when you pay for something extra and don’t get it. Other than that the service here is pretty quick, And the flavor as always as good.

Breakfast burritos, 80% potato 15%egg 5% for meat. bacon always undercooked. talk about getting an upset stomach. I only eat these if somebody else buys it for me, Otherwise its a hard pass. Worse in NM tables inside are always dirty. always a long wait.

My nearest Lotaburger stops selling breakfast burritos early — this one has them all day. Yesterday I got a carne adovada smothered breakfast burrito at 2pm with egg, cheese, beans, & hash browns all with red chile. Best I’ve had in years!!

I have the green chile double cheeseburger, once I added salt to it it was pretty good. I also ordered the onion rings but they overcooked them so they weren’t that good. I Ordered the onion rings because they have those thick fries and I don’t like that type of fries. Never tried their onion rings before so I don’t know if this is a one-time thing or if they are always over cooked like that.

Just got back to work, opened my burrito and indeed, it is not what I ordered. I believe this is the 5th time this has happened. Honestly only stopped here because it was my only option for the time crunch I had. Positive note is that it was not busy, but then of course my order was still incorrect. Quality control has still been poor since my update, pre covid.

Just in Albuquerque for a few days and was recommended Blake’s. The food is probably normally good but this experience wasn’t very good. Burgers didn’t come back as we ordered, and the chili looked like half eaten leftovers from a previous customer, except it was refrigerator cold. Seasoned fries were delish though. I’ll give Blake’s another try, but at a different location. I could see the potential, but I wouldn’t go back to this location.

Blake’s used to be my favorite burger in ABQ. But it has been steadily getting worse. The burritos and burgers have gotten smaller. And the automated ordering system is just about the most unpleasant experience I can think of. My most recent purchase has been the worst yet. I ordered three meals. The Lotaburger came with a burned top bun, like burned black. How you can see that and still put it on a burger for a customer is beyond me. The Itsaburger that was supposed to have green chili had barely any and the chicken sandwich had wayyyyyyyyyy too much on it. Absolutely zero consistency. I only found out once I got home and when I tried to call the store to inform the manager all I got was an endless automated phone loop. I don’t know if I’ll come back to Blake’s again. Certainly not the 4th and Solar location. A shame since I live so close. Pretty sad that one of the oldest and best ABQ burger joints sold out only to drive itself into the ground. So much for “awesome”.

If you’re ever craving a fast food experience that leaves you questioning your life choices, I highly recommend Lota Burger. My visit here was nothing short of a nightmare, and it all started the moment we walked in.

Upon entering, we were greeted—not with a smile or a welcoming “hello,” but with a grumpy glare from the staff behind the counter. The cashier, who seemed to be having the worst day of his life, barely acknowledged our presence and answered our questions with a huff, as if we were inconveniencing him. It was clear that customer service was not on the menu that day.

After placing our order, we were met with an excruciatingly long wait. I understand that fast food isn’t always fast, but the complete lack of urgency or care from the staff made the whole experience feel like a punishment. When our food finally arrived, I was shocked to find that my burger looked nothing like the appetizing images on the menu. It was a sad, soggy mess that had clearly been slapped together with zero regard for presentation.

To make matters worse, the fries tasted like they had been fried in yesterday’s oil. They were limp and cold, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that they were just as disheartened as the staff. It’s almost as if the entire operation was one big exercise in apathy.

Overall, my experience at Lota Burger was a complete letdown. The horrible attitude of the staff left us feeling unwelcome and unwanted, and the lackluster food only added to the disappointment. If you value your time, your taste buds, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of other fast food options that won’t leave you feeling like you’ve just been through a culinary disaster.
