We were passing through Asheboro and looked up a place to grab a sandwich. This had a good rating so we opted to go and try their sandwiches. A unique bread but well prepared and portion was good. We both opted for half sandwich. My husband got the Cuban and he said it was good. I got an old fashion BLT. It was good. The bacon was cooked right and enough bacon. Kudos to Blake’s Half Baked.

This was a very good place to stop on our trip. We had the HB spicy chic sandwich. It was very good. There is a pretty good variety of sandwiches and there is also soups. The restaurant was very clean and staff were friendly and nice.

Great early dinner spot! The chicken gnocchi soup was delicious and very filling. I also got a half Cuban sandwich; it was good but the soup + sandwich were more than I could eat. We got there early so we were the only people in the restaurant. Service was fast and the person who helped us was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!

If you don’t “hear about” or “see it” you might miss it . Tucked in a row of businesses on Fayetteville St. Downtown Asheboro is a quirky, yet unique sandwich shop. I really liked the menu and the option to “build you own” with ease choose your meats, cheese if you want, and condiments. Add what you like, omit what you may not care for and the prices are good. Friendly young lady provided customer service. Most seemed happy to be there . You should go, and tell a friend to go.

I had been hearing lots of great things about Blake’s Half Baked and decided to order my husband and I lunch thru DoorDash. He got an italian with a side salad and I got a for the birds with a side of broccoli salad. Everything was delicious and the meat portions on the sandwiches were very generous. My husband said the ranch for his salad was some of the best he’s had. We will definitely be ordering again. If I could give 10 stars, I most certainly would!

We really liked the sandwiches but were a little disappointed by the sides. The bowls were not full and the pasta side was not good to any of us at the table. The broccoli salad wasn’t bad though. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and thank God not freezing cold like some places!

Came here for lunch while visiting family over the holidays. I love a good sandwich and Blake’s knows how to make them! The sandwich was delicious and the bread made it unique. Had a half Smitty and an 8 oz chicken gnocchi soup. I could eat the soup every day. Bonus points for good soda ice. Go here if you love a good meal!

We were looking for a place to get a sandwich after visiting the zoo. Blake’s Half Baked came up on my search. What a find! Sandwiches were great! They don’t skimp on the meat and love the pizza pita bread they use. Prices are very reasonable.

Beware. All sandwiches are made with pizza crust. We had a Reuben. Not a lot of meat or sauerkraut. The pizza crust cannot replace the Rye bread for flavor. The website says it’s Thousand Island dressing. The in-store menu says Russian. He said it was Thousand Island. Not real sure. Thousand Island has a bit of a tangy bite – this did not.
Atmosphere is based on old theater. Kinda cool.
