We were pleasantly surprised by this spot! The service was very good and the food was delicious. We couldn’t believe the size of the hamburger patties! The prices were very reasonable. (Hint: you can order a fried green tomato on the side!)

This is our 2nd visit. The first time I had chicken and my husband had the fish and it was okay. This time, I had the smokey burger, and that was yummy! I asked for it medium rare, and it was done to perfection. It has 2 large onion rings on it, along with barbecue sauce and smoky cheddar cheese.I had to push it down so that I was able to bite into it. Make sure you ask for extra napkins because you are going to need it when all of those yummy juices start flowing. I also had the macaroni and cheese.
My husband had the country fried steak, and he said it was o k. He had the fried oakra and macaroni and cheese for his 2 sides. The okra was hot, crispy and not greasy at all.It was delicious, so was the macaroni and cheese.We both enjoy both of those. Everything came out hot for us.It was wonderful.

Very friendly staff, quick service. We ordered off the cafeteria food, you walk up and they put what you want on your plate. I don’t care what you get, it’s very filling with a meat and 3 veggies, plus biscuit or cornbread and bread pudding which is very yummy! I ordered the fried chicken and it was extremely delicious with a very crunchy crust yet juicy inside, great southern comfort food!!

Loved my mother clucking chicken sandwich. Every flavor popped. From the greens, to the awesome sauce they rolled the chicken in, the nice crispy bacon, then topping it off the homemade pimento cheese. Off the charts with flavor!!! My fried green tomatoes on the other hand where undercooked with had hard tomato centers VERY thick. If thinner they might of cooked fully. The staff was welcoming and very attentive.

I had the cheeseburger with what tasted like smoked cheddar cheese and french fried onion rings on it and barbecue sauce. It was so good that it was remarkable. You could tell that it was made with real beef. It was so delicious and juicy and wonderful. I plan to eat there quite often when I moved to Hiawassee. It’s worth the short drive for the quality of the burger. The price was great too. The service was wonderful. If you’re a sports fan they have a whole separate room just for sports fans and you would love it.
I can’t say enough about it You just have to experience it.

Downtown Blairsville, quaint area, busy with local traffic. Friendly staff (Danielle was our excellent server). Food was really good. Can’t go wrong with most anything. We had eggs, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, coffee, ham, bacon. All great!

Every single thing we tried was amazing, except for the plain boiled potatoes.
The batter on the onion rings, fried green tomatoes, and chicken was perfectly crisp and nicely seasoned.
The smoked trout, chicken salad, and fresh pimento cheese sampler was cool but not cold and well seasoned. Glad we tried each!
Macaroni and cheese has a nicely melted and crisp top.
Fried okra has a slight crunch, neither burned nor soggy.
The meatloaf had a lovely sweet topping and great chewy texture.
The collards and pot likker were so good, but I minded my table manners and didn’t drink from the bowl.
Highly recommended, even on a drizzly day!

We visited from Florida on Veteran’sDay, had a couple beers and burgers. Loved the atmosphere. We went during the afternoon, so not very crowded at all. Our bartender (Daytona? Dalton? Im sorry I can’t remember!!) was super nice. Even my husband remarked that it was refreshing to be in a place where people are just chill…especially when you’re used to Florida Man, if you know what I mean lol. Will definitely come back!
