I came here during Valentine’s Day weekend. We had a reservation so we were at our table almost immediately after arriving which was nice. The ambience was really nice and romantic. As for the food, I think it’s a bit overpriced. The pastas were a bit bland in flavor and the meat was sparse. I prefer my pastas drowning in meat so I definitely felt like it was missing something. The chocolate cake was good (truly the only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of this cake). The restaurant was packed so our entrees took a bit of time getting to us. The waiters were pretty busy with clients so it also took us a bit of time to get their attention for our bill and whatnot.

Made last minute reservations for a large party on a Friday night. It was nice weather, so opted for a table on the patio. Arrived on time and the table was awaiting our party. Was immediately greeted and seated, then waiter came over to explain the menu.

Started off with a few drinks and appetizers. The appetizers were the meatballs, calamari, and a salad. Everything arrived within 10 minutes and were good starters for the meal. For the meal, we ordered a wide variety of pasta dishes and seafood. All meals came out together after 15 minutes which timed well with our appetizers. Food was decent, but price was a little high for the quality. Atmosphere and service did make up for the high price point. Depending what you’re looking for or expecting, then you may have a mixed experience. I was satisfied taking into account the overall experience of service, atmosphere, and the food.

Blairs was a fantastic find! We caught the tail end of their happy hour, which was an absolute steal with great drinks and a lively vibe. The Radiatori Puttanesca was a bold, flavorful standout, and the Penne Ragu Bolognese was rich and comforting. Would totally recommend this spot.

Had great dinner with daughter and college friends. great atmosphere, wonderful patio. Our server was amazing. The food was pretty good, nothing to exciting, although the pasta ‘noodles’ were super fresh, sauces were ok and food didn’t come out hot. still, definitely recommend this place and will try different dishes next time

Looking for delicious food in a warm and laid-back atmosphere? We celebrated a
birthday at Blair’s, and there was a dish for the discriminating 6-year old to the world traveler- 60 -something guy! I had to resist finishing my homemade pasta with a vegetarian-friendly marinara sauce, because it was simply the best I’ve had in some time!

Had a very nice date here, vibes were extremely chill & dead on a Thursday night. Appetizer was good, liked the bruschetta with burrata. Ordered the bolognese and it was good just not super noteworthy & not my favorite bolognese. It needed some brightness and the flavor was just not complex enough for me. Would go back just to try more and give them another chance.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem, love the quiet/dark and intimate atmosphere here. The custom food creations are a twist on the typical Italian fare and very unique, as well.

Been meaning to try out Blair’s and glad we finally did! We brought family members – adults and kids – who are very finicky about ingredients, as well as others who are kind of Italian food snobs. Everyone found something they liked and everyone ultimately loved their dinner. The house-made bread is warm, crusty, and delicious. The entrees were quite generously portioned, especially the pastas. Everything was flavorful and we gladly took home leftovers. We were too full to get dessert but look forward to next time. Wine list was comprehensive and the beer selection was a little more interesting than other Italian-style places.

We also liked the space and the fact that it was both family friendly and suitable for a date night. (We were there on the early side.)

It’s the perfect place for when you can’t decide on dinner or aren’t sure what you feel like but want something hearty and yummy. Not inexpensive but you get quality for the price.

I am so excited that Eagle Rock has a quality italian, non-hipster restaurant!!! This place is definitely top notch – from the modern, industrial decor to the simple yet elegant cuisine. The restaurant has large open front windows which makes for a great breeze and a lovely view at sunset. We were lucky enough to have both tonight 🙂 I loved the little touches throughout the place as well…tiled bar front, lantern and woven basket- like lamps, wooden beams….so beautiful.

As far as food goes, the arugula salad is an absolute must! The garlic bread was great too and all our pasta had wonderful flavor as well. I realllyyy loved my gnochetti with sausage and my husband enjoyed the pasta with pomodoro sauce. We had also never had such great italian beer before!

My only gripe is that the prices are qquuiiittteee steep for the portion size. The pasta dishes range around $12-17 and I guess are more akin to true European portion sizes…but for this gal, I was a little shocked. The dishes were SOOO smaaaalllll – I would have expected them to cost about $8 by look/size alone.

Either way, the food is really worth trying…just be prepared to put a dent in your wallet.

Very weird vibe at this place! We were a party of four. The restaurant was pretty empty. Maybe 8 or 10 other people dining. Prices are high! Food was generally good. Service was ok. But a weird thing happened: the music was quite loud, and the restaurant is in a brick building, so the noise level was high. About half way through our meal the music got louder. We couldn’t hear each other at the table! We asked the waiter to turn the music down “a little“. Waiter said no! He at first claimed he couldn’t – that he had no access to the control of the music. When we asked him to explain he sent the manager who repeated that claim. When pressed, he said he could maybe lower it “one notch” but that the policy was not to lower the music! Very weird! No other explanation. We live in the neighborhood, but we won’t return! Too bad!
