My hubby & I dined here for the first time because we wanted something different & found this GEM on GPS! So glad we came! Staff were friendly & welcoming & the food was delicious! Music was great!! Highly recommend giving them a try! Only semi negative was the mixed drinks were weak. Also check out the paintings in the bathrooms!

Blackwater Bar & Grill is a great spot with an awesome atmosphere! The staff is friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor — definitely exceeded expectations. Drinks were cold and well mixed, and the live music added a fun touch to the night. Perfect place to relax with friends or enjoy a good meal. Highly recommend!

Great place to get a variety of different southern food. I got the chicken Alfredo pasta, which was very good, lots of flavor and lots of meat. The pasta was very very creamy, which was good but a little too overpowering. Overall, it was great I would come back.

It’s an unassuming building full of really good servers and tasty food. The menu shows some imagination but remains down to earth, the prices are not bad, and best of all, the oil in their fryer was fresh! If you are going to enjoy catfish and hushpuppies, it just does not taste very good if the oil is old and funky. The spring mix they used for the garden salad was nice and crisp, the iced tea tasted fresh, and we enjoyed the casual vibe. We went very early in the afternoon when things were quiet, but I am looking forward to going some night when the karaoke is in full swing.

Local restaurant to me and was the first time eating in the restaurant (had take-out once). Very cool atmosphere and the staff were amazing!!!! Price was as fair as any other but the portions were HUGE. Definitely had leftovers to take home. Will be returning very soon!!!!!!

I was disappointed. The fried oysters were dry. Instead of garlic bread that was supposed to come with it we got a tasteless roll. The cocktail sauce was almost frozen. My husband did like the catfish and seasoned fries.

We heard great reviews about the steak so we gave it a try. So disappointed. Over priced and over hyped. Should have known better than to try a steak in a strip mall. Thought I would never go back, but someone invited me to join for a little catch-up dinner. Drinks were good. Decided to try the royal reds. Even more disappointed. We ate at 7p so not late in the evening. The royal reds were nothing but mush. Disgusting. Now I know I will never return.

Great local restaurant and bar. First time visiting and we definitely enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and engaging. We enjoyed some good karaoke while sampling a few appetizers and a very good main course. We enjoyed the blackwater bites and cajun chips with seafood dip appetizers. The main course was blackened red fish and boiled shrimped platter and both were outstanding in both taste and quantity. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the price being high but it is absolutely not overpriced and the prices we paid were very fair. We definitely will be back again to sample more great food and enjoy some good karaoke.

The service was nice. The atmosphere was nice, clean, and comfortable. The food portions were very good, but my food was all burned. The fish was burned, sweet potato fries burned, onion strips extra greasy, and the food had no seasoning…just not tasty at all. Because of the portion s the price was fair, but because of the taste, it was a waste of money.
