Every time I walk into Blackthorne, I’m reminded of my travels in England and I’m instantly transported to the Lake District. The interior is well-appointed and family-friendly. There is seating for large groups and cozy nooks for date night or solos who bring a book. Over-21’s may sit at the bar, but it’s often full because the interacting bartenders is a good time and the bar space is beautiful!
Now for the important stuff: FOOD & DRINKS!
Again, I am reminded of the fresh offerings I enjoyed in Europe. You won’t see chicken strips and fries on the menu at Blackthorne! Order the Shepherd’s Pie, a handheld sammich and crisps, pasties, or my favorite: the sausage roll!
I am a Zero Proof drinker, and everything I’ve tried is stellar! I often have to ask if it’s really N.A.! It’s so nice to find a local place with elevated zero proof mixed drinks and an extensive N.A. beer selection!

I love this magical pub. The atmosphere is a rare mix of high quality while feeling cozy and at-home. A real heart of the community with the goods to back it up.
Selections for food and drinks are supreme. Hands down best cocktails I’ve had anywhere (and I’m from NY, so I feel like that says something lol). My staples are a Guinness or Mum’s Margarita – plus they pull out such inventive specials/themed drinks that I end up trying new things too ~ which I end up loving 10/10 times. Their food offerings feel just as intentional with comfort food vibes and fresh seasonal ingredients/pairings.
As if all of that wasn’t spectacular enough on its own, the owner/main bartender is one of the most kind-hearted, dedicated people around. I’ve come down for book clubs, karaoke, fundraisers, etc. and the level of care and thoughtfulness is unmatched. I feel lucky to get to support a small business knowing they support their community right back, tenfold. That’s the heart, that’s the magic they bring. I truly can’t recommend this place enough.

If you are looking for a place to get great food, excellent drinks, and experience a magical vibe this is the place for you! We initially came in just to try something new and were drawn in by the offering of Guinness on tap, but ended up staying for the amazing food/drinks and vibes. A complete 10/10 no notes.

This place is incredible! I came out for the first time last night after an event and had an awesome time with friends! Their staff was so on top of mixing and pouring drinks! The cocktails they made were some of the best mixes I’ve had. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, the food that came out looked amazing! Couldn’t say enough about it! Can’t believe I haven’t been here before.

This lovely little pub was suggested to me by my boss, and I have been coming back ever since! Very cozy inside, absolutely lovely. I have yet to have had a bad meal or drink. I adore the drinks they come up with, current favorite is the Persephone! My kids, both adult and teen also love the place, and we adore going there for appetizers and beautiful cocktails and mocktails.

I love eating and drinking here. The food selections fit any type of mood you could be in, especially, if it’s comfort, balanced and delicious. I love that they offer zero proof drinks that truly are crafted, along with brilliantly concocted mixed drinks. I also love the friendly and kind staff. There really isn’t anything not to like here. I can not say enough good things about this place! The comfort you feel when you walk in, the welcoming from the staff and owner, the amazing food! Shane (the owner) is without a doubt one of the most amazing humans alive. She genuinely cares about the community and everyone in it. She just hosted a fundraiser for my son to go on a music trip to Europe! There is no doubt in my mind that the silent auction was such a success because of her! If you want a place to hang out where you feel like family, look no further!

First timer here, love that someone had the idea to create an actual pub vibe. The owner is very nice and I asked her to create a whiskey cocktail for me with some sweetness. She made the perfect drink. Wasn’t super hungry ordered soup, clam chowder. Good presentation but it was just soso. Downside is it was a Saturday night and they had karaoke. Not my thing, on top of kids included. In my opinion after a certain time, a bar should be adults only. Even saw people start to come in, then saw kid singing and then left. Hope others enjoy this atmosphere, but not for me.
