Double date with our besties at Blackstone Putnam for the first time, & what an experience! We love this area of Putnam because of the amazing restaurant options—& it’s only about a 30-minute drive from Worcester. We kicked things off with a flight of mojitos, margaritas, mimosas, & old fashioneds. Courtney behind the bar absolutely nailed every one—each drink was crafted to perfection. For starters, we ordered the calamari & French fry flights, & every option was seasoned & flavored perfectly. My besties went with the wedge salad & the tableside pasta flight, which was a show in itself. We also shared the lamb Greek salad, & the lamb was cooked & seasoned flawlessly. Even though we were completely stuffed, we couldn’t resist ending the night with an espresso martini. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding—between the fun, eclectic décor & the amazing service from our waitress, Stephanie. We would absolutely recommend Blackstone Putnam & can’t wait to go back!

Everything was really good. The scallops, lobster tail amd stuffed mushroom was over the top delicious though!! Peter was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Looking forward to going back for dinner soon.

Absolutely loved Blackstone Restaurant in Putnam, Connecticut! The service was great, and the restaurant itself has such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere — it gives off a very calm, chill energy that makes it perfect for unwinding and enjoying good food.
I tried several of their flights — the slider flight, calamari flight, lettuce wrap flight, and mac & cheese flight — all were absolutely delicious. For drinks, I had the martini flight and the espresso martini flight, and both were incredible!
Nothing is ever truly perfect, but honestly, this place comes pretty close. It was my first visit, and I genuinely regret not going sooner. It was a spectacular experience all around. Highly recommend!

A really cute/quaint place in Putnam. I like the decor and stem ware, purple is a great color. I had the European wine flight and vegan food flight. I like the creative menu with the flights. I would definitely go back!

Waited for the patio to open to give this new Putnam restaurant a try. Did not disappoint! Went on a date and with two people appetizer flights are large! I enjoyed my mojto flight, my partner enjoyed his margarita flight. Jonathan our server was fantastic and made the experience so much more elevated! Great spot to brings friends. Will definitely be back soon with friends!

Had a really great time here with my husband! Everything was delicious- we had the seafood food flight and the land flight- scallops and baked stuffed shrimp were amazing, chicken parm was perfect, the meatball was really good. Tried the California Red flight by recommendation and it did not disappoint. Peter served us-greeted us from the door, was prompt, extremely courteous, and extra friendly! Excellent customer service!
Atmosphere is small and intimate, but very inviting it was an instant favorite-we will be back!!!

It was our first time coming here on a date and it was amazing. The food was great we got the egg roll flight, Mac n cheese, calamari, and burgers (all flights). We wanted to try a little of everything but took most of it home because we were full. I got the martini flight and my boyfriend got the old fashion flights. He also tried the chocolate espresso martini and loved it. The bartenders Adam and rosemary were super sweet and very engaging. They had great recommendations on food and drinks. Will definitely come back

We had dinner here tonight, and everything was great! Kelly was our server, and she was just awesome—so friendly and on top of things. The sangria flights were Delicious! Cake flights for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Review summary for those who don’t want to read a detailed review.
1) Disgusting restroom
2) Not ready for business 45 minutes after opening
3) Extremely long wait for food (37 minutes+ for just a calamari and slider flight) only 1 other table currently sat at the time, so they were not even close to busy.
4) Inconsistent food (sliders sent out on VERY burnt rolls). It does appear they use fresh quality ingredients though.
5) Some high price points (dont get the sparkling water!)
6) Calamari was only slightly hot after the long wait, but was REALLY GOOD. The chili sauce and pesto were amazing! Slider buns were mostly burnt, so that is mostly what you got for flavor.
7) Very limited seating so be prepared to become friendly with other guests.

I heard about this place when they opened and the concept sounded amazing. I love trying different foods, so being able to try multiple small portions sounded perfect. Living 45 minutes away, I did not make it out there until now.
So much potential, but sadly so poorly executed.
If I had used the restroom when I arrived I would have left immediately. The cleanliness of a restaurant’s restroom is a great indicator of the cleanliness of their kitchen.
Arrived 45 minutes after they opened and they were still not ready to serve guests. Tables not set and cleaning supplies on the bar top to be put away.
Extremely long wait for simple food. There was 1 other 2 top when we arrived, so they were not busy at all. I do not know how long the food took exactly. I do know we ordered prior to 12:00 and the food finally arrived at 12:37. So a minimum of 37 minutes for a slider flight and a calamari flight. The table ahead of us recieved their food at least 15 minutes before us and they only ordered a fry flight and deviled egg flight. So it took over 52 minutes (on the low end) for the kitchen to put out 4 flights!
During the long wait no one ever came over and said a word to us or update us on how long it was going to be.
Food was as stated above. We did show one of the servers how burnt the slider buns were. She offered to have them remade but after the long wait to start we decided against that. I have never asked for something to be comped or any discount at a restaurant, but in this case I was hoping they would do something for us. Of course they did not.
I read some reviews that thought the price was high. I found the calamari to be a fair price, the sliders tasted so burnt they were not worth the price. P.S. they will offer you water choices when you arrive. We decided on a bottle of sparkling, which I knew there would be a charge for. This is where their pricing is extremely high, $7.50 for a bottle is more than fine dining restaurants charge.
After spending what felt like an eternity at this place I needed to use the restroom before I left. The pictures say it all. Also if I happened to need toilet paper I would have had to fill it myself because the roll was empty.
Then the bill came on an extremely dirty fancy tray, but bother with a tray if is dirty.
