Blacksmith has that vibe–the kind of effortlessly chill atmosphere that hits you the moment you step inside. Warm lighting, the low hum of conversation, and the incredible smell of fresh coffee and food drifting through the air create a space that feels both inviting and energizing. And floating through it all was the faint sound of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in the background–soft, nostalgic, and absolutely perfect for the moment.
We came in early for a football game, slightly hungover and desperately needing something comforting but quality–and Blacksmith absolutely delivered. This place just hits right when you need a reset. The team here is all smiles–genuine, attentive, and unmistakably kind. Their service is impeccable, the kind that makes you feel taken care of without ever feeling rushed.
I ordered the Blacksmith bowl with an egg and a corridor, and shared one of their legendary biscuits. The bowl was vibrant, flavorful, and beautifully layered–comforting yet elevated in all the best ways. The egg added that perfect velvety richness, and the corridor was smooth, bright, and the exact kind of pick-me-up your body says “thank you” for. And that biscuit… buttery, warm, flaky perfection. From the ambiance to the aromas to the music to the service, everything at Blacksmith feels intentionally crafted. It was exactly what we needed, and we walked out feeling alive again. Already planning the next visit.

We’re in Houston quite often and we’re always looking for a place to buy roasted beans. We finally found a place to our liking- Blacksmith. Blacksmith offers Greenway roasted beans. We got a bag of roasted Guatemalan beans and it produced an excellent cup of coffee! To our surprise, when we bought a bag of beans we got a cup of coffee for free- bonus! Thank you, Blacksmith! Next time we’re back in Houston, we will get our beans from Blacksmith. Blacksmith is definitely worth a visit, especially if you want to quality roasted and brewed coffee! By the way the blueberry muffin was very delectable!

Have always heard great things but we usually do breakfast and coffee at home. We popped in on a recent Saturday morning. The space is larger than I was expecting and had a nice merch selection upon entry. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. My normal go to order is a bone dry cappuccino but I decided to try the competition cappuccino along with the yogurt and toasted granola. My husband got a drip coffee and the breakfast tacos. My cappuccino ended up being a little too sweet for me but I loved how it came with a side car espresso shot and my breakfast was a little heavy on the yogurt and light on granola. Overall this was a cute coffee shop but I find that I am happier in my own kitchen on a Saturday morning.

Nice chill vibe for morning food in a good location with plenty of parkin. Staff are really nice and the coffee was spot on – no refills – and the food decent. They just don’t know what over easy is on eggs.

I had the blacksmith plate with a biscuit, bacon and a cortado. I am not exaggerating when I say that everything was perfect. I’m especially excited to share how amazing their biscuits and coffee are. I mean, myyyy god! I haven’t had food that delicious in a hot minute! Will definitely be coming back to try out the rest of your menu, and just know that expectations have been declared

Coffee is always great. Love getting the Texas bourbon caramel latte and now the cold brew with the vanilla cloud. Food is delish. Tacos are a bit small if you’re planning on sharing. Any pastry is great!
Workers are super kind and chill. And it’s usually pretty quiet and relaxed inside

By far one of the best coffee shops in Houston. They got it all. Great coffee, friendly baristas, and a great vibe. They also make great seasonal drinks. Right now, I’m loving the Peachy Fizz, which is espresso, tonic water, and an apricot and peach syrup. They also make a fantastic flat white here too.

The pastries in the display case on the other hand can be a hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s really good, but most of the time it’s just ok.

The coffee is 5 stars but the food is 2 stars. Its not that it didn’t taste good but the serving size is small and the price is $$$$. I ordered the BLT for $11 and it was on a tiny 3.5″ bun and only had 1.5 slices of bacon. What man is satisfied with a slice and a half of ? Definitely not worth it. The coffee was fantastic though.

Coffee and food are very good and they have a good amount of seating if you want to get some work done. It can get a bit loud and cramped during peak times.
