BlackSheep is more than a restaurant—it’s a neighborhood anchor built on the belief that pizza can be both a comfort food and a craft experience. It’s a place that uses great food and bold drinks to welcome the outsider in all of us. Centered around familiar classics elevated by a unique touch, the menu features scratch-made Neapolitan pizza, setting itself apart with elegant lunch salads and rustic dinner entrees. BlackSheep will also highlight off-the-beaten path Italian treats like oversized piadina sandwiches and spiedini beef skewers. The food is complemented by a beverage menu featuring bonafide cocktails, an all-Italian wine list, and craft beers.

BlackSheep Pizza and Cocktails in Westfield is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, our server was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The kids pepperoni and cheese pizzas were outstanding—crispy crust, rich sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. They ate every bite! The breadsticks were warm, soft, and full of flavor, making them the ideal starter. The paired dipping sauces were also amazing! The real surprise was the steak piadina! It was tender, juicy steak wrapped in a delicious flatbread with fresh toppings, I highly recommend! Pair that with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent cocktails (I highly recommend the Cuban), and you have a dining experience worth repeating!!

This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The service was also great. I also had an awesome Old Fashioned. Definitely a place to get a good meal in Westfield.

Just checked out a newly opened Neapolitan pizza spot in Westfield.
I tried the garlic bread, the award-winning “Etna,” and the Pecora Nera (Black Sheep) with couple other draft beers.

The garlic bread comes with pesto, whipped feta, and marinara, pretty good combo.
The Etna really stood out. I can see why it’s won awards. The Pecora Nera was tasty too, but it more or less tasted like it looks (in a good way).

The place feels clean and neat, and prices are pretty reasonable for the quality and presentation.
The bar has a solid selection of wine, beer, and cocktails.
Seating seemed a bit sparse for the floor size, so I’d recommend making a reservation.
If you’re into Neapolitan-style pizza, this one’s worth a visit.

GORGEOUS warm, cozy yet sleek space with all the ambiance- open kitchen with bar seating right in front if you are into watching the chefs make your food! Pizza is the main thing and they make a mean one, but don’t sleep on the wood oven-fired entrees as well! Loved the lamb lollis for an appetizer (fall off the bone and cooked perfectly) and the steak was FIRE. Top-tier wine list and unique cocktails along with the classics you’d expect. Perfect spot for a quick bite and glass of wine or full coursed dinner. Family-friendly while also being a great spot for date night. Waitstaff was incredibly kind and knowledge. Cant wait to come back!

We came here on their first day open! Service is fabulous- the cocktails are delicious. Try the lavender bourbon cocktail! We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer (yum) and ordered our pizza on gluten free cauliflower crust.

Wow! We ate here tonight with our friends and had the most excellent experience. The pork chop was the best I have EVER had. The flavor was superb. The meat is obviously well-sourced and professionally prepared. There were six of us dining and we also ordered the lamb chops and some salads and the meatballs for appetizers, which everyone enjoyed. The lamb chops were very special. Regular and Gluten-free pizzas were enjoyed by all at the table. There were no leftovers and one friend ordered an extra pizza to go. For cocktails, we had margaritas and Cubans. They were both prepared perfectly. We will definitely be back. Thank goodness we now have this option in Westfield.

Good experience. Food and drinks were solid. Grand opening, so speed of service struggled, but I anticipate that shaping up as the staff gets experience. Tables are pretty close together, so doesn’t give a very intimate experience. Good experience for the price point. Consider it a “Napolese light”.

Can definitely be better. My pizza was lukewarm when it arrived and the potato’s were also cold. I love the fresh flowers on every table. The Neapolitan pizza was not light and airy but really crispy and burnt, total let down. My Coke was flat, I didn’t get a single burp out. Maybe check your fountain drinks or give the customer the can if it’s a can of soda? I was expecting something completely different. The place is beautiful, staff is kind, it just needs improvement.

The pizza at Black Sheep Pizza was tasty but the overall experience was disappointing. The menus and seats were filthy and clearly hadn’t been wiped down in a while, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy when we visited. A couple seated near us waited about 15 minutes just for a salad, and there were only three parties in the entire restaurant at the time, which made the slow service even more noticeable. One of our pizzas also came out burnt to a crisp, which really took away from the meal, especially given the higher prices. On top of that, the restaurant was playing very explicit music, which felt really inappropriate given that we had our young kids with us. With cleanliness issues, slow service, an overcooked pizza, and unsuitable music, it’s honestly hard to say if we’ll be back.
