This was my second visit and I still rank Blackland Smokehouse as one of my Top 2 barbecue joints. The brisket is phenomenal. It’s so very moist and tasty. It was the perfect amount of bark giving it even more of a punch. Their sides are very good too, as is their banana pudding. I am definitely in love with this place.

Didn’t feel well so I only ordered Mac. My son and his friend enjoyed food. Charged my credit card $38.91 on a $37.59 receipt. How many of my other relatives did they cheat. I don’t support thieves no matter how small.

Best barbecue I’ve ever had. Better than Evie Mae’s. The brisket was perfect: thickly sliced, perfectly tender, not the least bit dry, with a very well executed crust around the edges. Really nice ranch style beans. Cole slaw was excellent and flavorful. Facility was roomy and clean. Gonna go back up and order dessert when my wife isn’t looking.

Best bbq I’ve eaten in a long while. My husband and I shared our plates. The brisket and ribs were amazing! Moist and so flavorful. Loved the pepper rub on the brisket. Had pulled pork too and it’s hard to find pork that isn’t dried out and this definitely was not. Beans are the real deal–not canned. I fell in love with the green chili mac-n-cheese. I just thought I’d had mac-n-cheese before. Hands down, the best I’ve eaten. We were just passing thru. I wish I asked for the recipe!

Everything was SO good! The turkey and pulled pork were both flavorful, juicy, and tender. The brisket was done just right. It was falling apart without being dry at all. The sausage was some of the best I’ve ever had. The green chili mac & cheese is good enough to fight over. The red potatoes were yummy. The beans weren’t too mushy at all. My favorite sauce was the smokey honey BBQ. My only critique would be that the crust on my peach cobbler could have stood a few more minutes in the oven. Even so it was still tasty home made goodness. Definitely a great place to eat!

We tried Blackland on a whim today on our way to New Mexico. This is phenomenal BBQ. We left stuffed. The sides were equally as good as the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. We are coming back even if we have to crawl naked over broken glass from Dallas to get there!

Quick service, friendly. Disappointed they were out of ribs and smoked turkey at 12:20 pm on Thursday. My first time there. Ate sliced brisket and it tasted good. Beef prices were extra.
