I got the 3 meat platter with brisket, ribs and pulled pork and everything melted in my mouth like butter. As far as the sides, the red potatoes were seasoned well while the beans could have used a little salt but that was easily fixed, both were very good. This is what you expect from Texas BBQ

Great small town feeling BBQ restaurant. Found this place next to the town square. This place was very comforting smoked bbq place to eat at. I had pull pork and brisket with beans and corn as my sides and tried there jalapeño sausage. I was very pleased that everything was cooked properly and healthy portions. I’m a big guy so I always look for the price to match the food being served. I spent 40 bucks on this, including my Coke and a tip. this was not bad at all. I look forward to coming back to this place and I truly believe this place is one of the reasons why this town is being nominated for best place in America not only Texas Snyder‘s got a lot of good things going on for it. I’m from Hobbs, New Mexico and originally from Long Beach California but I tell you I love small towns. I love how people could just say hi to each other everywhere you go this is one of the places that I look forward to discovering and going to. Next time you’re in town I think this is a good place for anybody to have some good home cooked food.

We stopped by on a road trip and got here close to closing time. Suffice to say get here early! We just had the brisket and it was amazing! They were out of ribs, sausages, potatoes, and a few other things. All great hallmarks of an excellent smokehouse. Take the time to eat here, it’s worth it! Make sure to get here early!!!

This was my second visit and I still rank Blackland Smokehouse as one of my Top 2 barbecue joints. The brisket is phenomenal. It’s so very moist and tasty. It was the perfect amount of bark giving it even more of a punch. Their sides are very good too, as is their banana pudding. I am definitely in love with this place.

OUTSTANDING!! Since moving to Texas, we’ve sampled BBQ from at least 8 different places that all came highly recommended. Only today upon trying Blackland, did we finally have an authentic quality Texas BBQ experience!
Amazing brisket, perfect ribs, great sausage, and even the smoked Turkey was moist and delicious.
It’s definitely kind of a “locals only” place. If you’re going for the first time, don’t sit down and expect your order to be taken!
Head to the back where the food truck is inside the garage and place your order!

Food was excellent. Out of baked potatoes at a little before noon, however $17.50 would have been more than I was willing to pay for a baked potato with some brisket on top.
