We’ve ordered from here over a hundred times as we have an autistic son who specifically likes their cheese pizza. We tend to also order for ourselves as well when we get him a pizza.
I’ve waited to write this review to see if there is more consistency in quality and customer service – but I haven’t seen improvements in either.
On quality, the pizzas are consistently undercooked or overcooked. There isn’t consistency. Additionally the ingredients just aren’t as good as other pizza options.
On service, they are consistently understaffed and when you go into the store for a pickup, especially in the summer, it looks like the Goonies – with the oldest worker being college age at best.
This is clearly an absent franchise owner who just doesn’t care.

The guys working at the Briggs location in Erie were awesome. I got there a little early and they kept giving me updates on my pizza. It was so nice to be treated kindly from the moment I walked in! Great staff!!

Always had a good pizza from this blackjack! Typically order takeout, and our kids love the plain cheese, my wife and I really enjoy the jackpot specialty.
Tastes great, good ingredients, always ready quickly, able to get in and out in short order.

Pizza is hit or miss, sometimes it’s pretty yummy, especially the pan pizza, and other times it seems a little bland.
Staff is usually friendly, parking lot is really small though so it can be tricky to find a space and get in and out.

The worst customer service experience ever. I have three kids who are hungry and when I got home, I discovered the pizza was completely burned. I called back and spoke to the manager who agreed. Then the self identified customer service manager. Brittiny called me back but shared how I should have looked at the pizza before I left the restaurant. I’ve been going to this location for six years and never looked at the pizza. She and the GM, who was on the phone though she didn’t make me aware,, proceeded to become argumentative and incredibly rude in defense of me telling them how their burnt pizza messed up my evening with my kids. Good companies and people take responsibility. Britney and the GM of the Erie Blackjack, are not good people and attacked a long time patron for expressing their displeasure with their product.

Dude at the counter has a horrible attitude & horrible customer service! Will not be going back to this pizza place for a while. It almost seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered with customers. And when new customers came in he treated them the same way.
