My girlfriend and I came in for a late lunch/early dinner and we weren’t disappointed. The place looks fantastic and offered plenty of seating. The menu offers a lot and has something for everyone. We both got the French onion soup which was one of the best l’ve had and the Ribeye French Dip Sandwiches which we really enjoyed. Also the French fries are lights out. They have nice selection of specialty drinks and beers. The service was also very attentive to our needs. Valet parking is also a nice touch and complimentary. I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu.

My partner and I had been anxiously awaiting the opening of this new etablishment in Fort Salonga. Upon entering their driveway one must use their valet to park as they do not allow self-parking on site. You could park in the nearby North-Fort Plaza and walk over to the property if you do not want use their valet service. The gentleman who took our keys was very polite and wished a nice evening. Once inside you are greeted with a friendly hello by one of the hostesses. Your are asked if you want to sit up or downstairs. We chose downstairs, near the bar. The seating, tables and lighting are all very chic. As is the wall decor and the TVs set above the bar.
The atmosphere was very lively when we went and there were a few patrons at the bar enjoying cocktails around the 930pm hour. As far as service goes, after we were seated we waited about 15 minutes for our server to come over. One could tell she was new and or nervous. The drinks we originally asked for were not available due no inventory. For dinner we ordered a Caeser salad, French Onion Soup, Crab Cakes and Ribeye Sandwich. The salad wasn’t cut up for my partners liking but tasted okay. The French Onion Soup was perfect, Crab cakes were also very good but the portion size left more to be desired. The Ribeye was okay. Was served with a baguette type bread which I didn’t care for. Overall the ambience was special and they do have a very large staff. They will be experiencing some growing pains to compete with the likes of Arlo and Symi.
Three stars for food and service, five stars for the absolute look and feel of a posh NYC tavern. $$$

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is Delicious and the service is Excellent and they did an Amazing job on the renovation.
Best part is you can actually have a normal volume conversation while the music is on, great music selections as well. Love the attention to details here.
We Definitely recommend this to All.

Typically I don’t write negative reviews but unfortunately this will be my first. I am in the food business by myself- so I understand both aspects of owner, and patron.
We ordered The 1031, which is essentially a raw bar combo at MTP – the tuna tartar was presented completely frozen, and was difficult to eat through the ice.
The “prime rib” was most definitely NOT prime rib – only a couple of bites were palatable, and was unfortunately covered in an extremely salty sauce.
The short rib was extremely fatty, and the polenta essentially tasted like butter.
We also order the special, which was the seafood fettuccini pasta. 30 minutes after we ordered, we were then told the dish wasn’t available.
Overall, the food was not worth the dining experience. I do wish them luck, and hope they make improvements.

So nice to have a new restaurant in Fort Salonga! Food was exceptional! Service was great and the management was warm and welcoming! Pleasantly surprised to hear they bake their bread, rolls and pastries on premise! Delicious Gateaux basque! Had the turkey burger and it was delicious! Their fries were amazing, cooked with beef tallow! What a flavor sensation! The beet salad was delicious! Their wine list is impressive as well! You have to go!! Will be visiting them often! Can’t wait for the nice weather to enjoy the outdoor patio!

We had a party of 11 and ate on the first floor near the bar area. We had sandwiches, smash burgers, beet salad, onion soup, meatballs, and the fantastic spiral fries cooked in beef tallow oil. Everything was delicious.
The restuarant is decorated beautifully. Casual but upscale. We were very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back to enjoy the dinner menu and in the warmer weather to enjoy the deck.

Went to the restaurant for my niece’s birthday celebration!! The atmosphere, the food, and the service was great! Joe, our waiter was very attentive and the rest of the wait staff quickly cleared dishes to prepare for the next course. From the appetizers to the prime rib, short rib, branzino, halibut, chicken parm and marsala – everything was delicious. All around a very enjoyable experience! I highly recommend!!

One of the worst dining and service experiences I have had in a long time. Food was barely edible, my husband and I ate separately as our food was brought to us at different times. My wings were beyond dry, baked clams so overly salted they were inedible. Save your money and time and go elsewhere! Lastly, their decor is beyond tacky.

We had an amazing evening! From the valet to the hostess to the wait staff, we were welcomed like old friends. The oysters were the best I’ve ever had and the lemon cookie pie completed the meal perfectly. I will definitely be going back.

I was so happy to finally get to Blackfish Tavern! The whole vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The food, staff and overall ambiance made our night extra special. I would recommend this place to everyone! We were a party of 6, all ordered the prix fixe, and from apps, homemade bread, dinner, drinks to the dessert, it was a complete 5 star experience! Highly recommend!
