Oh my stars! I was in town for work and happened upon this lovely little charcuterie spot serving just what I was looking for: a chilled glass of white wine. What I didn’t expect was the exceptional culinary experience accompanied by the most wonderful conversation with the owner. I fell in love with the crunchy, perfectly herbaceous crackers and found out that they are handmade locally. What?! Of course they are. If you want to sit on a comfy couch or upholstered chair and have good conversations, this is your spot. Have a meeting with colleagues, dish with girlfriends, get to know your date; Highly recommend!! I will be back. I can’t stop thinking about the perfect nibbles. Open one in Oregon City, Oregon, please!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blackbird wine bar in Anacortes, WA. Let me tell you, it was an experience I will not forget. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The interior was delightful and inspiring. Incorporating unique decor into a cozy atmosphere.
But it wasn’t just the ambiance that impressed me. It was the owner’s hands-on approach and extensive knowledge that truly made this place stand out. We were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The owner’s engaging conversation kept us entertained throughout the entire evening.
The charcuterie board was the stuff of dreams. It boasted an impressive mix of in-house creations and local goodies from A-Town Bistro. I tell you, every morsel was bursting with flavor and had me wanting to order more and more. It was an experience not to be missed.
And the wine! Oh, the wine. It was fantastic, to say the least. We opted for a small charcuterie board to share between the two of us, and it was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious wines we were enjoying.
Speaking of the bar, I highly recommend sitting there when you visit Blackbird. It’s where the action is. Engage with the delightful staff. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

On our recent visit to beautiful Anacortes a friend traveling with us suggested we try this amazing, stylish and cozy gem of a place and oh so glad we did! The owner Brian was beyond gracious and kind, the wines were spectacular (specifically Planet Oregon’s pinot noir) and the charcuterie plate we ordered was done so well. Unique cheeses and meats, dips and jams included. Highly recommend a visit to this place while in Anacortes!

I was surprised and delighted to find a place like Blackbird Wine Bar and Charcuterie and it’s my favorite happy hour in Anacortes. The first thing you’ll notice walking in is the design. It’s classy, edgy, and hip, but still comfortable, and quiet enough to meet friends and have a conversation (that you can actually hear). The second thing you’ll notice is the warm and friendly customer service. Brian is a gem! And he knows his cheese, which brings me to the third thing you’ll notice, delicious charcuterie with various meats, cheeses, and accoutrements, which I leave off the tray because I’m weird and don’t like my food to touch each other 🙂

They only do wine by the glass/bottle, no flights, and I did two glasses. Both superb. Enjoyed chatting with the owner and several others that did a drink on a late afternoon. Was really impressed by how dry and tasty the wines were. Recently updated back area really looked relaxing. If in the area and you like wine, you must visit.
