Very unfortunate that I have to write this review because I was expecting something very different. This sadly has been my worst restaurant experience in years. We had tickets at eight for Haunting at the Ridge about three minutes away. After looking at the menu, we decided to come here for dinner. I was very excited because of all the great menu options.
The service was terrible from the start all around. We arrived at 6:15. There was two people in front of us. The hostess acknowledged us, but never took our name. A few minutes later, other people started coming in and she started taking their names and asking them if they wanted to sit outside. She never gave us that option. One of the people came in and started to debate whether or not they wanted to wait 20 minutes. She told them ”You can stay or go, it doesn’t matter to me.” I should have known right there to leave. We were seated at 6:30 which was not a bad wait. 6:45 our orders were taken. Our waitress did not come back to the table one time after bringing our drinks. Never checked on us, never let us know what was going on with the food. She came back at 7:28 with our appetizer. We asked her how long would it take for the rest of our food. She apologized and said it would be another 20 to 25 minutes. I didn’t understand how burgers take over an hour to make. We canceled the rest of the order.
I was excited about the hotdog. Another letdown. It was cold when I got it and the chili on top had no flavor. I’m not even sure if it was deep-fried. Definitely not worth the $14.50 price. I will say the fries were very good. They were the only bright spot of the night. They have a lot to offer, but I would never come back here due to my experience.

Service was very shy to say the least….never came back to check on us if we were enjoying our food or needed anything. After all parties at the table attempting to get our waitress attention, we finally resorted to finding kitchen staff to tend to our needs. Food was a little different. Not the best but not bad either. Probably wont go out of my way to go back.

The Barkeep met me with a warm hello, fast beer and menu. She did the next most important part from old school and followed up on my meal and anticipated my second beer before it was empty and dried out. The millennials don’t have a clue about those most basic principals. The ambiance is very cool and the music wall art is nice. Good menu selection and craft draft beers. Very popular with locals.

Special summer salad, mine topped with grilled salmon, and my favorite carrot cake, bar none made this a perfect meal. The cherry on the top came from a rich medium roast Columbian coffee, black and delicious with dessert. In the past decade or so, I’ve rarely been able to enjoy coffee anymore. Other restaurants predominantly offer dark, often burned bitter coffees that even I can’t drink black. Blackbird Tavern restored that pleasure to me!

The quality of the food is pretty good. It has some flavor, not too explosive though. The staff is really friendly and fun and homey. I really enjoy the environment though, it has a good old school rock type of restaurant.

We had a fabulous dinner there last night celebrating a birthday. Our table had a burger, a chicken wrap and a salad. All were prepared according to our request, delicious, fresh and hot!! Our drinks were great and the bartender and server were very friendly and accommodating. I will be telling friends and family to go check it out, worth every penny!! Thank you!!

Poor beer selection but over 50 tap stalks displayed. Been coming here for about a year since our favorite local restaurant closed. Over 50 different beer stalks are displayed on one of the walls. However the beer only changes when Sam Adams decides to change their seasonal. The draft beer selection is pitiful and poor and mainstream only. Bottles are worse. See images. If you walk around you also see Great Signs and posters from really good beers. What a shame They don’t serve any of them any longer. Maybe they never did but I assumed at some point they took pride in what their beer selection was based upon the over 50 beer stocks display.

Such a cozy spot to have happy hour or dinner with a small group of friends, I love the bar area but it does get crowded quick. The lobster roll is amazing here along with their burgers, wings & texmex egg rolls☺️

It was good. The meatloaf burger was melt in your mouth delicious. The drinks are decent. The waitress was a little different to say the least but it was enjoyable.

We met up with another friend before heading out to an event; we limited our visit to the bar and one beverage.
The owner (behind the tap) could not have been more gracious and the clientele ever so friendly. One could tell, the patrons were regulars and there was a friendly atmosphere, which was very inviting and this made the setting quite comfortable for a newcomer.
Though we had just one drink, the food being served looked tasty and looking forward to a return trip so we can order from the diverse menu.
