A menu for everyone including vegetarian, vegan, meat lovers, and kids. We are located along Bear Creek East of Evergreen Lake – our window seating is right over the creek! Enjoy the busy and beautiful mountain wildlife; fish jumping, elk and deer grazing, ducks waddling, and hummingbirds sharing a meal right along with you. Our purpose is to share our love of fresh, delicious food in the peaceful beauty of the Rocky Mountains. We serve breakfast, brunch and lunch 5 days a week – we offer a variety of healthy, hearty meals – from the best benedicts to grass-fed Front Range burgers to the freshest salads. We also have house-made desserts, a nice wine menu, craft beers and a full bar. Patio is dog friendly. Live music on Thursdays 5:30-8pm.

The food was incredible! The service was great! Someone forgot to make my food or something, I don’t know what happened but it happens sometimes. Normally that would knock down my rating, but everything else was perfect!
The waiting tent even had a coffee stand!
Parking was a little difficult so I’d recommend carpooling if possible!

The location of this brunch spot is fantastic, so are the views and menu and baked goods. We had a pleasant time here and really liked the brunch. However, parking may be hard to find during busy hours. The waiting area and the water body next to it makes up for this. Highly recommend

After a nearby hike we stopped here for a bite and sat outside. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The menu is clearly labeled for vegan, gluten-free, and nut options. We had burgers with side salads. Everything was fresh and really hit the spot. They had a really nice selection of drinks including non alcoholic drinks. They have gluten-free blueberry muffins for breakfast! They also have weekly specials and live music on Thursdays at 5:30. Great place to unwind and enjoy good food!

Amazing experience! Our waitress, Desiree, provided 5-star service—she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was excellent across the board—both the brunch and lunch items were very, very good, and the beverages were just as impressive. The atmosphere was equally memorable. We sat on the outside patio area, which offers a beautiful view of the nearby creek where people can play and relax. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy great food and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were detoured weeks ago from some highway construction and found this restaurant on Google. This is hands down the best unplanned breakfast spot we have ever been to. We chose to sit outside and the food came out hot and delicious,( You absolutely have to try the blueberry pancakes!) Then service was wonderful and the atmosphere is top tier. Even had some sweet 4 legged visitors roam through making it that much more magical. I cannot wait to come back and eat here again someday! We will be longing to eat here again all the way up in Wyoming.

Really cute place! Absolutely loved this place. We had the bison burger and the Gruyère mushroom burger. Both were very good. The fries were delicious as well. We opted for fried pickles on the side of another burger and that is the only reason they get 4 stars for food. The fried pickles lacked flavor. They were not dull pickles and had no pop. The servers were so nice and attentive. The setting was great with nice views of the river. I’d definitely stop by if you’re in the area.

I had an amazing brunch and experience at Blackbird Cafe! After a morning of hiking, I stopped in around 1:30 pm for brunch. Tammy was so sweet, attentive and as friendly as can be. I ordered the Blackbird Traditional Breakfast w/Blueberry Pancakes, which was served quickly and was delicious! I was so happy eating that meal – it just hit the spot! I loved sitting at a window near the creek, and walking along the creek after brunch. Tammy and Blackbird Cafe really contributed to an awesome day!!! Thank you!!!
