A cozy cafe with a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. Good variety of specialty drinks and coffee. The food was very tasty and fresh. The only issue with this restaurant is the 12 percent service fee (which is a separate charge from the tip). This is not reflected in the posted prices, but is calculated at the register. I agree with compensating employees fairly, but the prices listed should be more transparent.

I love this place! The lattes here are phenomenal and arguably the best latte I’ve ever had! Truly delicious. I will say, it gets really busy on weekends so plan accordingly, but that’s to be expected of a place like this. Absolutely recommend!

We went in here for breakfast sandwiches and I clearly spoke to the girl behind the register and told her my order although when I got my order instead of getting two sandwiches I only got one she combined the two sandwiches into one. Then when I replaced the New order instead of doing the refund first she wanted me to pay for my second order on top of the first order I already paid for, this makes no sense to me. Then when she finally took my second order she screwed it up again. I don’t understand what was so complicated I was speaking very clearly I think her head was someplace else and she started giving me an attitude. So once you screwed up the second time a girl came out from the kitchen and took care of me she was very polite very sweet smiled at me and fixed everything.

Looking for somewhere new to try on the way back from Boston.
I was not impressed with the place even though it has 5 stars. It continued to have foot traffic but I believe it was mostly drinks being ordered. We walked in and it was FREEZING in there (I don’t mind it cold but this was ridiculous). We walked up to be seated and they told us that you just order there. It’s basically self serve. We had to find the menus then a seat. It seemed to be several single people sitting in full booths rather than the single seats. I went back up to the cashier and placed an order. They give you a number for your table. I had to wipe down the table myself. The barista called my number to pick up my drink. There is an area with napkins, straws, utensils, cold water, salt & pepper to get for yourself. The “cashier” came and dropped off my plate and my son’s egg sandwich (the total was $29.85 for our bill) His sandwich was an English muffin with egg, American cheese and 2 pcs of bacon… RIDICULOUS PRICE too!!!! I do hafta say that mine was very good. Then you must clear your own table and put the dirty dishes in a specific area. Other than that I probably won’t go back here.

A great place for breakfast with a good sized menu and some delicious selections. The service was fast and friendly and the place is very accommodating for families. An easy stop for coffee only or for a more leisurely breakfast. They also have sandwich offerings for lunch which are tasty with quality ingredients. This is an great choice in the area for breakfast and lunch.

BLACKBIRD Café is a unique place. You order and pay for your food, here a table with a number, pick up your coffee when it’s ready. When your food is up, they bring it to your table. When you’re finished, you bus your own table. It’s unpretentious, and the food is good. The service is great because you do it!!

Ordered a gluten free sandwich on gf toast and told them it is an allergy for my daughter with celiac. She got it and it was a wrap. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone to confirm it was gf after leaving 4 messages. $20 wasted and my daughter had no lunch. I’m angry.

Overall the coffee is good, and the food is fresh. But please up your home fry game. Very little seasoning. Either look like they have been sitting in the fridge for 5 days or burnt to crisp on the grill. No in between. I thought I cracked my tooth on one. Been eating there for 5 years and the home fries have never gotten better. Pic of the home fries is on a busy Saturday morning. You’d think you’d throw a fresh batch in the oven that morning to satisfy the wave for the morning.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience as the food was good not great for the amount of money I paid – over $5.00 extra for bacon – customer service was not very friendly or professional one bought my latte to me and I said what about a straw – she just said
