I recently had breakfast at Blackberry Market in Oak Brook, IL, and it was a lovely morning out; the café itself has a bright, relaxed atmosphere that feels inviting from the moment you walk in. I tried the avocado sandwich, and it was really nice — the smashed avocado on ciabatta with fresh greens and tangy pickled red onions had just the right balance of flavours and was wonderfully fresh. The people working there were friendly and attentive, making the meal feel even more enjoyable as they chatted and made us feel welcome. Overall it’s a pleasant spot for a casual breakfast with great food that hits the spot and a warm vibe that makes you want to return next time you’re in the area.

Unfortunately one of the worst cafes I’ve been to… the coffee cups are horrendous: half my hot coffee spilled in my car. Very unsafe!
My mom and I both ordered 12 oz black Americanos and they were very diluted (I.e., no coffee flavor whatsoever). Additionally, the coffees were quite expensive for that size.
The service was amazing! I hate to give such a low review because the other branch located in Glen Ellyn was much more pleasant.

It’s a really cool, clean, bright, and large space. I just tried the coffee, and the food looks tasty, but the coffee really was a C+…the lattes were way too milky…my girlfriend described her harvest spice latte as coffee flavored milk. My oat milk latte was fine, but nothing special.

Definitely coming back! I’ve stopped by a couple of times and been satisfied each time. Their iced lattes are great, but definitely on the sweeter side. They have a bunch of pastries available with dietary restrictions available, I tried the GF banana bread and it was delicious. I do wish they would warm them up, but not sure if that’s an option. Staff is kind and patient, and you get your food/drinks very quick. They also have a lot of lunch options that look great, going to give them a try next time. Also, a lot of seating available and never too busy/hectic.

Sad. I wanted to like it. Never have been here so I had no clue how to order. I told the staff at register I’d never been here. There was only one person in line I let them go ahead. He never mentioned there was a whole cooler of sides. Found out from other customer. Though the staff at register was pleasant he wasn’t helpful at all. I asked what ice teas and he points “ they are there” so you can barely read the names on them and when he saw me looking to find the flavors he just watched me looking around. He spent more time chatting with the other co worker. He had a great weekend, had allergies ,….. Then the sandwich. Really. Toast the bread or have an option. Could have threw this together at home. When I got it I said oh it’s not toasted? He says no thst is only the panini. And literally walking away as talking. So would it be so bad to say we can put it in the panini machine. Sandwich tasty but very very small ingredients. Staff… He didn’t care. Again friendly but you lost repeat customers. We go to lunch in this area everyday but it won’t be here.

There’s a lot of pastries and cookies to choose from, delicious cinnamon rolls, so many kinds of lattes and speciality drinks and teas, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of folks sitting on the patio with their adorable dogs. Really good vibe at this place and I enjoyed my iced coffee and cinnamon roll. I would come back for

Used InKind app to find and pay for this place which is kinda a deal. Food was tasty and atmosphere good. Got lattes, but espresso was kinda weak. Service was quick and the atmosphere is great. Nice design and variety of seating: table, booths, bar, and comfy chairs.

I came here just looking for a good cup of coffee and instead I ended up with a great latte. I ordered a medium latte with lavender and honey and it was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, this time I didn’t order any food however, the menu looks quite tasty giving a few great breakfast and lunch options.
The overall atmosphere is quite cozy while still giving a very modern feel. This place would make a cute date spot or a great place to grab some coffee and get to work on your laptop.

Recently visited and there is ample parking since it’s in a strip mall area across from Oakbrook Center. They have a lot of seating and at the time of my visit (mid afternoon on a weekday) there were quite a few people working remotely and small groups of people just eating and visiting.
Staff was nice and let me peruse the bakery area and sides. I tried a strawberry and cream scone as well as a market trio, and a ham and cheese croissant. I love they serve breakfast all day and being able to order 3 sides in a set fills my randomness heart.
The scone was pretty tasty, not too dry, and not too sweet. The 3 sides I got were the chicken salad, BLT Caesar pasta, and Green Goddess Veggies. Everything tasted pretty good! I enjoyed the chicken salad and veggies. The Pasta was a little on the hard side for me.
I liked that the ham and cheese croissant also came with home style tables which had half sweet potato and half regular potato.
Overall nice spot to meet up with someone or work at, lots of options for eating and drinking.

Blackberry Market has a great atmosphere: lots of natural light, a comfortable vibe, and a space that’s easy to settle into. The service has generally been solid as well: the staff is friendly, and food comes out quickly.
That said, the food has been inconsistent for me, especially the sandwiches. On multiple occasions they’ve arrived cold, dry, and lacking flavor.
I want to like this place because the ambience and service are strong, but the food definitely needs an upgrade.
