Had the shrimp tacos and shrimp flautas. Taco shrimp were grilled, plentiful and large. Baja style with a scoop of guacamole and pico de gallo on the side. The flautas were tasty too but will not be on the menu beginning in February. Nautical decor with the right amount of kitch.

Service was so so. I had the popcorn shrimp basket with potato salad. It was ok. My husband had the seafood queso burger with fries. The fries weren’t fully done and were bland. The hamburger was beyond well done and a very thin patty. The seafood queso was ‘meh.

Good local seafood restaurant, has live music on certain days. I love the Diablo Alfredo. Good starters are the zucchini bites or the fried mushrooms. I like the fried catfish, fried oysters are good as well. The tartar sauce is homemade I think because it’s exelent. The baskets are an excellent option also. You can mix and match.

Fast Friendly service. I had blackened Red Fish, coleslaw and charro beans.
The seasoning was good. Beans were spicy, so if you dont do spicy. Coleslaw. Creamy slaw.
My co partner Jen has the Shrimp Alfredo, she loved it.

1st timer visit. Came in for dinner. I ordered the Chicken Capitian, it was excellent. Sorta of a Texas-country / Mexican fusion dish. Outstanding. And the portion…well let’s say: “nobody is walking away hungry”… this dish is a “keeper”

This was my family’s and I first time at Blackbeards Too and let me tell you i prefer it to the other one. It’s smaller, quieter, not as busy but has the same feel as the other one in CC. The food was phenomenal. Great taste, flavorful and came out quickly too! The pina colada was so good I had to get two! The staff was friendly, patient and helpful! 10/10 I definitely recommend and we will be making it a tradition when we travel to the coast to stop by and have dinner at least once at Blackbeards Too.

Our family of 6 stopped by for lunch on our way back to McAllen. The Grandkids were starving. We didn’t have any big meal items but the kids loved the food and so did we. Got seated quickly and the Server was so nice. I would definitely go back for the crawfish next time! Nice environment with live music on a Saturday afternoon ver high recommendation to go have lunch or dinner at Blackbeards!

My boyfriend and I came in to eat and decided to share a plate, which should not be an issue. Unfortunately, our waitress immediately made a rude face when we ordered and continued to make unpleasant expressions throughout our visit whenever we asked for anything.
We were polite, respectful, and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. The service made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, which really took away from the experience. Good customer service goes a long way, and this was disappointing.
