Of course everyone loves eating here. It’s usually pretty good. The cup of soup I had looked almost like broth not a lot in it. And the cinnamon rolls felt day old and were cold. My steak was a little raw and hard to chew. Everyone else seems to like their dinner. Is a little expensive for what you’re getting. Overall it’s a decent seafood restaurant.

Our server, Patrick, was great. I’m not a seafood person, so I went for the fish lovers in my family. They enjoyed their fish. My food was fine. I really liked their ranch dressing, sounds like a small thing but it was so good.

This restaurant serves very large portions, and the servers are great, but the food is satisfactory. Each meal comes with soup, bread, cinnamon rolls and salad. The soup and bread are very good. Our entrees were the Captain Hook’s Combination (crab legs, shrimp, crab cake, scallops and haddock) and the Fried Shrimp dinner.

The food is fantastic but if you want to eat at a reasonable time, you must go early when they open. We went there twice this trip to New Smyrna and we were there for awhile waiting for a table and then our main course. I wish they were open earlier to avoid some of that but there food is so good! Worth the wait if you have that time.

This place seems like it hasn’t changed since it opened in 1980! Which is both a good and bad thing.

My family and I enjoyed this restaurant for the first time. We really loved all of our dinners and will return again. The waitress was very attentive to us thank you! Thank you to the cooks that prepared the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection

Service staff was excellent & attentive, checking in and re-filling beverages without asking. The amount of food you receive at this restaurant is abundant, come hungry!! Each entree meal comes with soup, salad, bread bowl also with cinnamon rolls, a hush puppy and one side!! so much food!! We had fried clams & Scallops with broccoli and fried clams & shrimp with baked potato. enough for lunch the next day.

If you’re like me, you go out to eat, relax and enjoy time with your family. After forty-five minutes, wait my family and I were greeted with the rudest service to the point that I now wish we would have left upon initially meeting the very rude waitress. Our first time was our last time. We will continue to frequent our favorite local seafood restaurant JC’s

Old school seafood and grill restaurant that’s a stable in NSB. They have a great early bird (before 6pm) menu with many entree choices plus fish chowder, salad, cinnamon roll, dinner roll, and a hush puppy. Our favorite is the 10oz prime rib. It’s perfectly cooked every time. They offer a full bar as well with good pour!

I love their early bird specials, but so do many others! They open at 4pm. We arrived at 4:15, the parking lots were full, the restaurant was full, and it’s not small, and there were several parties waiting to be seated. We were told a 30-45 minute wait. Then they said they had a small table for two. Yes! The food is so delicious! I started with a Wicked cocktail with rum, banana liqueur and fruit juice-yummy. I ordered the fried seafood platter containing shrimp, scallops, fish and a crab cake with a baked potato. Hubby had their famous prime rib with a side of broccoli. They both come with fish chowder and a large salad, buns and cinnamon rolls. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. I got a chocolate cheesecake to take home..along with most of my meal…too full. Service was great! This restaurant is family owned and consistent in quality for over 30 years.
