The food was a little pricey, but good and worth it for the quality. My meal was well portioned and beautifully presented, which made it feel like a treat instead of just another brunch stop.
The mimosa flight was a mixed bag. Half were great, half missed the mark. When I mentioned it, they quickly replaced the drinks with better ones, which I appreciated.
Overall, it was a good experience with solid service and food that delivered.

I don’t typically share reviews but our experience here overall was not good. We got 2 steak and egg plates and asked for medium rare and the first picture is how it first came out. (Extremely rare) We asked for it to be fixed and asked for it to be medium this time so they could cook it longer and it was still swimming in blood. The person who helped us was kind, but if we’re paying $60 for 2 plates of food and some pancakes I’d expect for it to be better than this.

We arrived at about 10:00. It wasn’t busy. We sat ourselves pretty much after the server told us we could sit anywhere. We ordered our food. It didn’t take long to get our orders. I ordered the chicken and waffles with an egg fried over easy. I wanted my yokes fried hard (I told the server that I didn’t like my eggs runny) but she didn’t know what I was talking about. But she was nice and professional. My companion really liked her order. I did too. However, I wish the chicken was seasoned more.
It was nice. It was quiet. I saw a lady with her two Golden Retrievers on the patio and I like that dogs are welcome in the patio. I may go back for lunch or dinner.

A very lovely place. We had a brunch experience here and loved it. Love the quantity and quality of food and staff was very friendly as well. Soo many options to choose from. Definitely worth checking it out. And on National coffee day they even offer free coffee. Overall I’d give a 4.5/5 rating.

Very pleasant experience. I met up with a friend while I was in Houston for the weekend and grabbed an appetizer and a drink. One of the best spinach artichoke dips I have ever had and the chips were pretty decent add well. The dip had great body and texture you could feel the spinach and cheese chunks which I personal liked. I ordered the flight of margaritas and they were good. My favorite was the strawberry though. My friend ordered the carb cakes and even though I do not eat met they did look appetizing.Location was good and plenty of parking. I’d visit again.

Food was good. We ordered steak and eggs and Birra breakfast plate which was delicious. We sat outside in a rainy day that made our brunch more pleasant.

Ordered delivery. Medium rare steak frites. All the items came in one box leading to soggy fries and wilted salad. Steak was ordered medium rare, came well done. Practically cardboard. Very disappointed in my first experience with black walnut.

I’ve been here a few times and usually sit at the bar, and every visit has been great. The bartender, Angie, is absolutely excellent. She is attentive without being overbearing, always checking on our food and making sure our drinks are perfect. You can tell she really cares about the guest experience.
The food is consistently delicious, and the service at the bar keeps me coming back. Angie creates such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, she truly elevates the whole experience. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if she’s working!
