The business is tucked inside an office park (across from Brooks Furniture for the locals), and while the location is unexpected, the flavors are unforgettable. When I walked in, the chef greeted me warmly and even remembered our call from the day before. That type of personal customer service makes all the difference.
Now let’s talk pizza.
I ordered the Louboutin and the Classic NY-Style Chicken Bacon Ranch Pie — and both were absolutely delicious. The Louboutin completely stole the show. The flavor of the sauce alone had me doing a double take. You can tell premium ingredients are used, and the attention to detail is unmatched. The cheese, the seasoning, the toppings… it all just worked in harmony.
The chicken bacon ranch pizza was also a hit — rich, savory, and satisfying. The crust wasn’t my favorite, but honestly, the rest of the pizza made up for it and then some.
This is the best pizza I’ve had in the DMV, hands down. I don’t even consider myself a huge pizza person unless I’m in the mood, but I’d eat this again anytime. I spent $55.12 (pre-tip) and would do it again. In fact, I’m going back to try the vegan options next time.
Bonus points for being Black-owned, intentional, and flavor-forward.
Major props for phenomenal service, big portions, and bold taste.
If you’re tired of chain pizza that lacks soul, give Black Sicilian a try. It’s a hidden gem that deserves ALL the flowers. Just don’t go too viral — I still need to be able to place my order!
Chef Sedrick is a one-man show of greatness. I had the chance to meet him and taste the Cowboy Carter pizza he recommended—flavor explosion doesn’t even do it justice.
It’s rare to see a Black-owned pizza spot, let alone one with this level of flavor and fire.
