Love everything about this coffee shop! Warm and inviting environment and staff. The coffee is always amazing. Even their crepes and breakfast sandwiches are so delicious.
Skip the McDonald’s and Starbucks coffee and stop in here instead!

We visited on a very quiet Sunday about 9:30. Nice open space without too many patrons that particular morning. My cortado was had a bit too much milk but coffee was good. My son’s nitro was solid. Staff was very friendly and the seating space was plentiful and comfortable.

My husband and I have lived in Johnstown for about a year and a half now and we just discovered this place! I’m actually mad I didn’t discover it sooner!! It’s such a cute joint with friendly and inviting staff, delicious coffee, and the breakfast is amazing!! We both ordered a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese crepe. My husband got his with green chili and he said the green chili was quite tasty. They do NOT skimp on portions either! The crepes are HEFTY and super protein packed! Neither of us could even finish them so we had to take half of them home! My husband loved the cold brew he got, and I got a seasonal pumpkin spice latte and it was so good!! For dessert we got a chocolate Nutella crepe with cinnamon sugar on top with a chocolate drizzle. It was amazing!! The rustic atmosphere is so calming and cozy and we will definitely be returning!! I only wish I knew about this when I had family in town a couple weeks ago!

Black Sheep Coffee & Crepes in Johnstown is one of my favorite local spots! The coffee is always fresh and flavorful, and the crepes are absolutely amazing- sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it’s the perfect place to meet friends, catch up on work, or just enjoy a quiet morning.
As a Johnstown real estate agent, I love supporting our local businesses that make this community so special. Black Sheep truly captures that small-town charm with big flavor- definitely worth stopping by!
(These pictures are actually from before they did a remodel! It’s even nicer now! 🙂 )

Whether you are wanting a place to do school/work on my laptop, a cute breakfast/coffee date, a lunch with the family or just a hang out spot, Black Sheep is a place you should go! The staff is extremely welcoming and relaxed and the drinks/food are top notch! Next time you’re in Johnstown, definitely stop by!
They are only open until 2:00p, so no late night coffee runs here, but still worth it if you can make it in before they close!

I definitely will be going back here! The service was great. Everything we had ordered was very delicious Recommend trying the crepes. We ended up getting 4 different ones to try between everyone at our table. I’m This establishment did not disappoint.

A nice place. It’s noisy, but friendly. The food is good but variety is limited with the crepe fillings. You can order sandwiches and pizza after 11:30am from the restaurant next door and eat it at the Black Sheep.
There is no table service, but you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The owners are very nice and the staff is friendly.
The coffee drinks are very good and priced well. They seem to have seasonal options as well. I recommend the “Love Shack Crepe” a crepe filled with cheesecake filling, strawberries, and graham cracker crumbs. You are able to add things to any crepe they make so add whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Yum. The savory crepes are very good as well. I had one with sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese. Add a side of excellent green chili to spice things up.
There’s lots of parking in the rear and sometimes street parking in front. Lovely setting in downtown Johnstown near other shops and restaurants.

Good place! The coffee’s good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices compete well with Starbucks. I particularly enjoyed the Tommy Boy.
Do note, if you order an iced coffee, they put in so much ice that it turns your 12oz coffee into a 6oz one. Perhaps they’d be willing to accommodate if you ask them to either put in less ice or use a larger cup.

The food and drinks here are genuinely great — everything I’ve tried has been delicious and the quality is always consistent. The only downside is the service can be very slow. I ordered a coffee at 10:29 and didn’t receive it until 10:56, even though the shop wasn’t very busy. I still enjoy coming here, but I hope the speed improves because the place itself has so much potential.
