The service was excellent — very attentive, friendly, and professional. That part truly stood out and deserves credit.
However, the ventilation was a major issue. There was a lot of smoke in the dining area, which made the experience uncomfortable. On top of that, my steak arrived cold, which was disappointing.
That said, the steak itself was very tasty and well-seasoned, so the quality of the food is clearly there; it just needs better execution and temperature control.
If the ventilation improves and food is served hot, this place could easily be much better. Great staff, but the overall experience needs work.
The lobster bisque was extremely thin… almost like water. Was there even any lobster in it? Hard to tell It tasted more like “lobster-flavored” soup than the real deal.
The ribs, on the other hand, were tasty, but there wasn’t a whole lot of meat on the bones.
Shout-out to our waitress, Journey—she was super friendly, informative, and made the experience better overall.
All in all, it was fun to try, but I’m still on the fence about whether I’d return.
We chose to cook our own steaks on the stones, and it was so yummy doing individual cuts seared in butter.
Only thing is it does get Smokey doing this, and there is grease that ends up coating the table and everything on it.
But everything was perfect, pricing is normal for a steakhouse.
2 people, with an appetizer, both having a steak meal with upgraded sides and a dessert was just about $100.
I Recommend going there!
The bar staff was super nice despite being run absolutely ragged by the olddddder patrons I’m a business consultant so I don’t mind being served last, but I kind of felt bad for the bartenders. Business dudes hanging with the “bros” are always the neeeediest customers. And SO EMOTIONAL!
Genuine human interaction and great hospitality will always get praise from me over weird robotic people who can’t smile or hold a real conversation. The girls behind the bar are awesome.
We did get our food (steak and lobster) and it’s always a unique experience with the stone. This saved the stars given.
One of my companions suggested this restaurant for the $19.99 steak and lobster dinner. I had low expectations for a steak and lobster dinner for $19.99 however I was open minded hoping the restaurant would put their best foot forward attracting new customers with this promotion.
All three of us ordered the steak and lobster. The lobster was tender but lacked the sweet meat taste that makes lobster so delicious. Steaks were 6oz. sirloins served with a pale orange colored sauce of undiscernable flavor. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great and it did help flavoring the meat. I order my steak medium rare. It was a tad too well done with a grainy texture.
One of my companions took the advice of the server to order her steak rare and then cook it on a blackstone at the table to suit her level of medium rare. That was smart advice.
The meals come with a choice of soup or salad and a vegetable. I thought there was a pretty diverse list of sides that could be expanded with upgrades.
One of us ordered clam chowder and mashed potatoes, the other ordered a house salad of mixed greens with blue cheese dressing and an order of mashed potatoes. I ordered a Ceasar’s salad and a baked sweet potato. My companion thought that the blue cheese dressing was good and would save some of the dressing to eat with his steak. My Ceasar’s salad was a big disappointment because it was made with chopped iceberg lettuce, it was topped with a heavy portion of parmesean cheese, and the dressing was flavorless. There was absolutely none of the umami flavor that anchovies bring to a Ceasar’s salad. My generously sized baked sweet potato was sitting in a pool of butter (?) and topped with a crust of brown sugar. If you like your sweet potato heavily dosed with brown sugar and butter, then I highly recommend ordering a sweet potato. I wish I would have known that it was prepared with the fat and sugar at the very least, I would have asked for brown sugar butter served on the side.
We enjoyed friendly and attentive service from the hostess, the waitress, and the food runner.
Based upon this meal, I would not visit this restaurant again.
