This was our first time here – we came on a Friday and were surprised to be seated immediately, we forgot to call ahead to get on the priority list. The menu was a bit confusing, but we figured it out. The appetizer was tasty, but when our main dishes came out they never took it away so we literally had no room on the table and had to set our side dishes on the window ledge which was a bit odd. As for cooking the steaks, some clearer directions on how to achieve the preferred steak temp would have been helpful. Overall the food was tasty, just wish we had more room and instructions. Also be prepared for your clothes to smell strongly when you leave!

It was fantastic, food was delicious, expierence was very neat cooking our food on stone. Did find out that you domt have to do that you can have them cook it if wanted. Dress Casual attire fit in for our Christmas dinner with our neighbors.

Unfortunately we had a bad waitress. The food and service was extremely slow. Took an hour and 45 mins to get the main course. The lobster bisque and clam chowder was cold, crab was cold, and forgot to bring things several times. The manager did great trying to resolve the issues. The restraunt was only at 50% capacity. First time here after years of my wife wanting to go here and was sadly disappointed. Food tasted great except for a few cold items that shouldn’t have been.

Over priced to cook your own food, deep fried pickles were soggy, not good ventilation system so smoky inside, bathrooms your shoes stick to the floor, grease flying everywhere on your table and on your self when cooking, slow service and not that busy and slow bar service with no draft beer! They were out. This was our first time visiting and so disappointed. Won’t be back when I can experience a better steak experience at home.

You would think a chain restaurant that is supposed to be higher scale would take pride in every location but I don’t feel this is true. Needs a lot of training and tightening up on the overall restaurant function seemed so unorganized.

We stopped in for lunch on Saturday. It was nice as the place was not busy or crowded. I should have known better. My wife ordered the Marsala ribeye. An extremely fatty piece of meat. I ordered the five piece mahi fish and chips. The fish was soggy and lacked freshness. Upon looking around at the furnishings and upper ceiling areas of this restaurant that this location lack’s cleanliness. Dusty rafters and HVAC vents, worn furnishings, misaligned seat cushions. This site is showing signs of age and was a disappointment.

The server was new. Very overwhelmed.
Had to ask for everything and then waited a long time.
Quality of service and food has decreased.
The menus are very cheap I could not even lay it out flat.
I was disappointed. This place had always been on point and something has happened.
I don’t know if they have new management or the just dont care anymore.

Our family of 5 went in on a Tuesday evening not busy at all. The wait time for food was very long and we didn’t see much of our waitress. The bar had 2 people sitting at it. The bartender was on his personal phone most of the time and the drinks were made at a snails pace. The food was just okay husband liked the steak tacos. Kids enjoyed cooking their steak. The amount of smoke and haze in the air is AWFUL you definitely walk out of there feeling greasy. Not a terrible place but not my ideal restaurant.

We love Black Rock steakhouse. You cook your own steaks on a 755° stone. Their meats are great quality, and their appetizers are delicious! Fantastic place!!

Just gotta say, my steak wasn’t cooked very well. One part was over done while the other part was not done good enough. Guess I shouldn’t cook my own steak ever again. I got the steak and coconut shrimp. It was real nice. Other than , I didn’t cook my steak very well, everything was pretty good. Very fun and interesting experience. Will go back again after I learn how to cook steak or make my husband do it for me .

Manager needs to go – they’re completely fumbling V-Day evening right now. So we had a 6:30pm reservation, showed at 6:10pm – and was told 45 minutes to an hour. The restaurant took reservations – but couldn’t KEEP the reservations! In fact, they had TWO lists (one for the reservations with a 45 minute – 1hr wait, & one for walk-ins with a 1-2hr wait).

End of story: We left and we’re sitting at Hamlin Pub enjoying some bomb nachos!
