My husband and I had reservations here. We got there a little bit early but since it wasn’t very busy we got a table right away (Friday about 5:15pm). Our waitress was very nice and explained how the hot stone cooking works. My husband ordered the 8oz filet with the chopped cabbage and the loaded potato. I ordered the steak & rib combo with the strawberry apple salad and mashed potatoes. The salads came out pretty quick. I really liked my salad it was so delicious. My husband thought his salad was just ok.

Have gone here lots of times. Everything I’ve ever tried has been amazing. Great food great drinks great atmosphere great staff (except girls at front desk they can be pretty rude and unwelcoming). But I dont let those rude little girls stop me from enjoying the amazing food. Volcano shrimp is my fave and my girl Vi is my fave bartender/waitresses I’ve ever had I always look forward to seeing her!

This place feels hard to review because my opinion is such a mixed bag. So the service has always been wonderful, and that really does make a difference. The appetizers are heavenly, and the sticky ribs are worth an hour Wait alone. The entrees, on the other hand, are most mediocre and feel heavily overpriced for what it is. While the volcanic rock is a neat gimmick some nights, i dont want the stress of cooking a steak myself. Overall, it’s a good, slightly fancy place with divine apps but overall somewhat expensive or overpriced, depending on your opinion food.

Black Rock Bar and Grill in Hagerstown provided an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Wow. Here for the night and wild picked dinner.. boy did I get it right.. ribs were great. Sauce is unique to me but excellent… staff happy and attentive. Food quick.. this place is worth a trip

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good! Highly recommend the electric lemonade and lobster dip. Expect to spend a good bit, as prices here are pretty high. Atmosphere was nice and clean. We had a party of six and they let us book ahead reservations.

I personally have never been to black rock till today. My boyfriend has been there before. We went there and Karisma was a wonderful server. She made us feel welcomed and helped with recommendations. I’m not a big fan of seafood and she gave me plenty of help deciding. She was wonderful and I’m glad we got her. Definitely will be back to see her!! We got the lobster dip and it was delicious, along with the steaks. 10 out of 10.

This restaurant offered a variety of different foods. The cooking on the stone was fun, but the smoke was not so fun. This place needs more fans! Staff was friendly and informative. The prices are a tad high though…

What an awesome and amazing experience. The place was packed. We ate at the bar. There was only one bartender and he was hustling. Probably not a good way to gage their service. Make sure you ask for plenty of their garlic butter to cook on. Oh, you’ve got to have their signature shrimp appetizer. To die for.
