This Italian restaurant serves truly delicious food! The garlic bread is perfect for dipping. You can tell that everything is made with love and care, as if it were homemade. Our waiter even prepared an olive oil dip in front of us, demonstrating the authentic Italian way. Another great dish was the meatballs, which were incredibly flavorful. The lasagna was super cheesy, and I couldn’t resist taking a bite of it all because of the abundance of cheese on top! They also provided complimentary bread and marinara sauce. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Food was delicious, we came in with several groups and the service was still on point. We had a supreme pizza and supreme calzone, both had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Staff was friendly and offered input for our selection as well as friendly conversation. Will return!

My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight, we live about an hour away. She had the seafood Alfredo and I had the supreme calzone and WOW! Her pasta had lobster and scallops in almost every bite and my calzone was huge! Both side salads were good as well along with the bread they bring out at first. Friendly staff and very fair priced. We will most definitely be back in the future.

I went with my grandma and got the “Meat Lover’s Calzone”. It was HUGE, I could only eat one half of it and I rarely am not able to finish my plate. The service was amazing, the staff was incredibly nice and our waitress was very on top of refills as well as talking with us. For example, she commented that the appetiser we ordered was her favourite (could have been bullshitting but seemed genuine so good job). I also noticed they had a whole vegetarian section which I don’t see a lot, I am not vegetarian obviously but it seems like a very nice touch in my opinion. I just wanted to give a review because it was a great time and I don’t see why it has a 3.7/5 stars. Maybe that’s considered good, I’m not sure, I am not a critic or even a hobbyist in reviewing so I don’t know what is considered good but I think it should be higher!

We went to Black Olives in Madison for Valentine’s Day. When we got there, they were completely packed. We ended up waiting about an hour and there was already a line forming. You could tell they were short staffed and doing the best they could on a really busy night.
Even with the long wait, the food was fantastic and the service was great considering how busy they were. It looked like some servers may have just been called in to help, but everyone kept a good attitude and worked hard.
We still enjoyed our night and appreciate the effort they put in. We’ll definitely be back for a better experience next time.

The engagement from walking it was great. Its a well lit dining room & bar. Very nice & elegant. The hostess & staff were great very welcoming as well as informative about the menu and bar selection. Cristal was the woman when we entered greeted us and we had story’s to talk about like we were just catching up from last time. We had Alfredo and a kids spaghetti really wanted a pretty dribk but next time. We will be back for sure.

Very bland tasteless food. Extremely overpriced (snuck in strange to go fee within the total.) Staff honestly seemed bored/bothered at me picking up a carryout order. Not very impressed overall.
